I get what you are saying but I think it’s a bit unfair on Harrogate and Accrington who both put in a shift. I think it was @jjunior9 who noted our bad run came after the Morecambe game and the Derek Adams non handshake and I just wonder the extent to which other sides at the bottom weren’t prepared to roll over after that.
Newport on the other hand was the biggest gift of 3 points imaginable. I will never understand the lack of urgency shown in that game. Especially after they went down to 10 men. I can’t excuse that performance and result.

Yup he’s in the Last throes but still has some quality that can hurt you at this level .
Just got um after a nice evening out.
Glad Wimbledon won as I think we have more chance of out hoofing them than out playing Notts County, particularly on the big Wembley pitch.
I’m trying not to think about tomorrow as it’s churning my guts. I’m playing golf in the morning and planning to get back 10 minutes before kick off so I don’t have to fret for any longer than needed.

I think I agree. Wimbledon are a very well-organised side, difficult to break down but with less attacking threat than Notts County. Saying that, County are on a bad run of form, like us. Anyway, if Wimbledon win, it will pss off the Chesterfield fans who are expecting to play County at Wembley!!

If we do end up playing Wimbledon, the choice of ref could decide it. Yesterday’s let them get away with nearly as much as the clown at Walsall did. They depend on being allowed to play with their arms.

So up at 06:00am after a restless night, itching to hit the road and roar on the boys. Not gonna make any predictions today, for me it’s all about staying in the tie and a blood n guts performance rather than thinking tactics, thats a relief given MS, imo, has no tactical nouse whatsoever and will be out thought by Cook. It’s a real shame that the clubs couldn’t agree on a bigger allocation for away support but we are where we are. Now is the time for every single one of the “fortunate 1000” to get behind the lads from the warm up to the final whistle, remember in a two leg goal any goal is of value regardless of its impact on the actual result on the day. Hoping for the same team selection as the last couple, with Chang and Hall starting, praying that MS doesnt go for a more defensive option. Back five picks itself, and up top matters little as they are all pretty bang average. That said I would love to see DJ in the squad and involved at some point before 93rd minute. So if your there in person sing long, loud and proud, if you’re in the Locker, the local or in front of the TV at home everyone has a part to play in staying positive and sending the vibe to the XI on the pitch … COYS

I would love that and I do think we have it in us to take a lead back to The Bescot but I guess I am, like many others still dealing with the heartache and “emotional scars” that the collapse has left behind and for me it’s maybe tempering my belief. If we start well and get ahead maybe, just maybe we will see the belief come rushing back in the players too. I absolutely want to believe in a victory today but I am taking an “under promise, over deliver” approach for my own sanity. I will outwardly be displaying the passion and belief and expect to get back to my car with no voice but inside I am in knots … still have to end this post with the cry of … COYS
