Two top players but for me it must be Flash for his season long effort. Even at the start when lets face it we were crap he never gave less than 100%. Must keep both for next season. UTS.

I think flash has got 1 year left on his contract. Would be great if we can get that extended pre season by a year or 2.Hes a 100 percenter which is exactly what we need from our players.

I used to post a lot on here back in the day, probably too much, think I wracked up about 15000 posts or something daft. Times change, I found myself always arguing with people incapable of giving a sensible response. I rarely have ott views, but somehow I’d end up spending too much time arguing with people that were incapable of a reasonable debate. I found myself doing the same and worse on Facebook last season, so I deleted myself from a lot of the groups.

I tend to try and go with the old way of just going to the game and either chatting in the pub about it after, or just going home and sulking. It has helped my mental health a lot !

I might stick around now. Looks like the game is on Saturday now !

Sure it was me that said that could be wrong though

Certainly more sane on here than facebook mate Wfhys has its place i suppose now shame there isnt another fan group thats more sensible.

Went for Josh as I personally have never seen him rate less than a 7 out of 10.He scores goals works his proverbials off on a regular basis and very very rarely leaves anything on the pitch such a good asset to have and I hope he’s here for some time to come.

So the fans went for Josh, the players for Wes - https://www.saddlers.co.uk/news/2020/june/josh-gordon–wes-mcdonald-scoop-two-awards-each/

Both had brilliant spells.

Yes, and it was a close call for me when I cast my own vote - Josh had been plugging away giving 100% even when things weren’t going his way, Wes hadn’t been.as consistent but did make a big impact on the team and its fortunes when he got into form.

Hopefully it was only a taste of what we will see from them (and others) when L2 does return.

Let us not forget that in the case of Flash, hd had a big personal situation in the close season. This looked like it had a big impact on the start of his campaign so no wonder he took a while for his confidence to return.

With that also in consideration, he has been fabulous this year, and fully deserves the award. Well done Josh!

For me Josh was the clear winner of the award, he had a great season in the end even with the slow start and unlike Wes if he isn’t having a good game he still hassles and gives his all. (Not a criticism of Wes but a perk of a striker compared to a winger position wise to be honest). I will add though that one doesn’t really work without the other, without the supply Josh would not score half as many, but without the striker to finish chances Wes would be criticised for having no end product. Both are key players for me.
