Pomlett, Gamble, Mole, Whalley

Nothing snide about it at all. That’s not my style Said it To his face. And others many times.
I’m a firm believer never say anything. About anyone. You would not repeat. If they where stood. in front of you

I’m yet to receive. Notification of any legal action. For either . Libellous or slanderous comments

Maybe it’s because you can’t be jailed or punished for telling the truth or. Putting awkward questions. To people who. Won’t answer valid concerns

And it’s my opinion others. May differ. Of which I respect But he has no reputation to tarnish in respect of wfc. He did that himself. With his years of open contempt towards the fanbase

He and bonser. Will go down as the two most disliked people ever to be. associated with the club for very valid reasons

Well you’ve still not said it on here other than obliquely:

Absolutely no reason to disbelieve you that this this is factually correct (albeit that “carve up” is a subjective take on what happened) - but you drop it into the thread in a way than insinuates wrongdoing and then you won’t then go on and say what that wrongdoing was. Bribery? Corruption? Fraud? Or was he just lobbying personal contacts on the council (which is all above board so long as vested interests are declared where appropriate)?

Which of those options, or any other, have you voiced out loud to his face - or did you just dangle the awkward question and build a house of cards because he wouldn’t engage with you? Here’s your chance - stop doing what you are accusing Whalley and the others of doing re dodging the question, and state clearly what it is you are alleging happened that was in some way dishonest.

As my previous post explains, my own very brief interaction with him didn’t leave me with a very high opinion of him on a personal level. That doesn’t mean I think he was dodgy or underhand, or that he didn’t do his bit to save the club and keep it going. And while it wasn’t a positive interaction as far as I was concerned, I think any open contempt he may have had was only for certain parts of the fanbase not all of it.

In in all due respect Andy, I’ve put my questions to him on many many occasions, and he has always refused to answer.

He and others know what the questions are only too well.

Ask yourselves why they won’t answer ask yourselves, why. No legal recourse has
ever been used against me or others who are party to knowing. Facts

I’m curious as to why it bothers you so much What others think about him.

But if you wish to facilitate a meeting with the surviving people from that point in time in an open, setting I’m more than happy to , ask the questions publicly, and put my allegations as you put them. to them, which should then satisfy your thirst to know what the questions are

You asked if there was anyone on here with the balls to publicly ask the questions I can assure you. There are many of us who indeed have the balls. To ask such questions. And the knowledge of what happened. to back them up

Your bigger concern, if you can try to arrange such a meeting is wether those facing the questions. Will answer them. Or indeed even agree to it in the first place

Board starting getting stick again in comes Okelly which i am pleased about but dont tell me that isnt a deflection tactic from them Bonser used to do very similar things when the fans moaned and got on his back.Trivela may be different but the people running things day to day still stink of Bonser and his methods.

To be fair, I’ve asked you a question and it appears you are refusing to answer it too! Do I need to ask myself why you won’t too?

If all you have is the question “Why did Whalley meet councilors in the Sneyd pub?” (presuming that he indeed did so) and not something concrete to prove what happened when he did (and that it was not above board) then please say so.

Trying to look at it from your point of view from your own crusade - lack of transparency? Debatable as the acceptable level of transparency is subjective for each individual (some people still wouldn’t be satisfied if he showed them if he’s got matching collar and cuffs), but I wouldn’t decry you for wanting more than they have shown. Drawing conclusions from them not answering to your satisfaction? Guilty parties often do respond “no comment”, but it is of itself not an admission of guilt - and just because you want to know something doesn’t mean you have a right to know it.

From what I read on here over the years, Whalley and others have given some answers but nobody liked what they were. If you have proof (rather than just suspicion) that they lied then great, let’s see it. If you don’t, could that explain why they no longer bother engaging when you keep repeating the same questions that they think they’ve already dealt with (and why they show contempt for some, but not all, of the fanbase)?

Again, not saying I like him as an individual but in terms of what he’s done for the club … insinuations of bad stuff - lots of mud being slung but still not seen anything concrete; the good stuff (such as SWAG etc) - well documented.

Leaving Whalley to one side for a bit - he’s drawn most flak for the handling of the protests way back, but Barrie Blower would have had to have also been complicit in, or at least aware of, anything underhand over the last 30-odd years. I saw nothing but praise for him on here when he died 4 years ago - are you aware of anything to contradict that and his status of saving the club from extinction?

The club was saved from extinction through selling Stuart Rimmer to Barnsley they didnt fund it themselves.

As said. Facilitate the meeting. You msy
then learn. Things you may be unaware of

As for Whalley not wanting to Engage that’s a blessing. As you know for certain he’s not lying when his lips aren’t. Moving

As for swag I’m well. aware of it. Most of what took place. Was planned in my late parents front room. Who both played. A prominent part. In helping Barrie. Organise his march. And his meetings At the old College. But that was before. Wallet Had sold his. Soul To. bonser

I have heard things about Barry Blower. I don’t know for certain if they are true. I certainly don’t want to end up in court. I am just a regular bloke, Walsall fan with a family that wouldn’t stand a chance. If that means I have no balls, then I’ll go with that. On the balance of probability taking into account the people who have said things, I would say there was at least some truth. That’s how we come to a lot of our opinions in life, not all things are based on 100% facts and certainly not ones that can be proven.

People tend not to speak badly about someone who has just died. I believe most people are decent and have enough respect for human life not to wade in. It does happen though, I saw some posts on social media that really upset his family. I certainly wouldn’t want to be part of anything like that. It won’t change a thing anyway. We are where we are now and I hope the future holds something good for our younger fans, including my kids.

Directors of a company have a legal fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of that company. I find it hard to believe that selling the freehold back in the day as they did was an act that was in the best interests of Walsall Football Club Limited.

UP THE SADDLERS

Well i definitely have it on good authority that there was skullduggery in the merry go round of Elton John , Troy Deeney and cash only payments for the tickets. Wouldnt want the person involved so its there in limbo. Ex cop, poker player and business owner who spoke at managers meeting to Pomlette about Bonser and safe to say he definitely is a snake oil salesman. The fact that over approximately 30 years every awkward question is either avoided or buried under the commercially sensitive bs. Its ever likely that there still is a stink about the place. Oh for owners like Port Vale and Wrexham. Im 50/50 with Trivela on what their real intentions are now that they own the land. We have to give them the benefit of the doubt because someone higher than them will judge them .

Trivela are happy with both Mole and Gamble not quite sure why fans are so struck on blaming them for our failure on the pitch over the past decade.

Pomlett while completely out of his depth as a chairman of a football club as provided a pathway resulting in an exciting new ownership and the club being reunited with the stadium.

Bonsers babes with the restructure of the board i would say they have very little say on matters.

Since Trivela have taken over we have…

Eliminated Bonser
Purchased the freehold
Started work on the Saddlers club
Seen an improvement on the wage budget.

The football on show is still poor but that isnt down to Mole Gamble Pomlett bonsers babes or Trivela. Simply bad luck and a manager with a poor football philosophy.

If the saddlers is going to cost 200k ish to bring up to a standard I’d rather that 3/4K a week was put in to a salary for a decent striker or midfielder who runs and passes forwards

Wouldn’t a newly refurbished club do exactly that through generating an income?

They have to go because they have presided over the club, during it’s terminal decline & instilled a culture of failure & malaise within it.

3 top 10 finishes in 16 seasons & 1 playoff since Dickie Dosh, that is awful. In any other industry they’d be gone.
