And thinking outside of the 90 minutes on the field, the club host weddings, receptions, meetings, presentations, all kind of events that are and can be attended by people of different faiths. If this encourages more of them, it can only be a good thing for the profitability of the club.

I trust that there will be facilities for me to carry out a blood sacrifice to Woden the Allfather, to ensure our success in the remainder of the season?

It’s a prayer room, not a blood altar.

If it was Woden the Alefather you were after, you could have gone to the pub on Church Hill in Wednesbury - except that it shut during Covid.

How very Mercian Supremacy of you.

It has to be the blood of a Northumbrian, Kentish or Welshman though.

I felt the need to pray in the first half, almost thought about popping in.

It has also been funded by Walsall churches

My Sister and her partner took their youngest today - his first ever Walsall game at the age of 3. However, they were unable to take their oldest who is 4 due to his Autism and had to leave him with Nan and Grandad for the afternoon.

He is prone to having extreme meltdowns in busy/loud places and it isnt helped by yhe fact that he cant speak and sort of let them know when he’s agitated or upset.

He’d be another young Saddler who would benefit from a sensory/quiet room 100%. Its a shame because he’s a lovely lad that is always kicking his ball about at home and loves the England games on TV, with his dad.

I’m loving this Prayer Room, best initiative since they instructed a competent plumber to stop the pissy toilets.

We are going places!

Praise the Lord. I’m glad my HT visit to the Prayer Room did the trick

I wonder if we can bang out some jesus songs like we all did at school

Remember it is multi-faith so you’d need to bang out some chants etc from other religions too!

There was a Priestley looking fella in there before kick off. May have been a Deakin, but he was giving a Surman requesting some Devine intervention.
