Looking forward to the latest table.
Just so you know, points are now being deducted for smugness! ![]()
@ManchesterSaddler, that comment is for you and your ridiculous posturing.
Itās a marathon, not a sprint, my perverted friend.
Keep looking over your shoulder; cos Iām coming to get you.

Updated table after week 22. Some great scoring and only 1 blob.
The winning score was 4 points, achieved by quite a few people - Simon, reedswoodsaddler, itasaddler, ManchesterSaddler, saddla, Timbuktu_Saddler and Exile - well done to all of you!
Week 23 table on its way and donāt forget all the festive games to predict - there are 3 game weeks in a short space of time, so donāt miss out on some critical points because you are too mulched on eggnog!

The last time you ācame to get meā with any success was 10 years ago, which the last time I checked is a decade.
A decade.
So youāll forgive me if Iām not soiling my pantaloons at the prospect. ![]()
Merry yuletide!
Makes a change for you not to āsoul your pantaloonsā. I thought that was one of your favourite pastimes.

Everyone needs a hobby, Manc.
Merry Xmas my perverted friend. And everyone else too.

ā¦Well can you give them to me please ā¦
I just want everyone to be aware that Iām top at Xmas.

Be thus informed.
You started the festivities, then?Look up āhubrisā while youāre still seeing straight.
Hubris is my middle name. Never bothered looking it up, I can probably guess the meaning. I think it means ātalentedā.
Updated table after week 23. Lower scoring than recent game weeks but the winning score was still 4 points, achieved by Bluejay - another first win of the season! Well done!
A four way tie at the top now but how long will that last for, that is the questionā¦!

I havenāt even really started yet ⦠
Itās part and parcel of being the most celebrated* and feared* prediction player of all time. A heavy and demanding burden at times, but worth every ounce the effort, tears, blood, failed relationships, bitter regret, broken promises, missed opportunities, squandered dreams and snot.
The real demonstration is writ large at the end of every season, as no-one finishes better than me. No-one*. I illuminate it with something akin to the Northern lights.
My prediction power is an extraordinary and unstoppable hybrid of supreme skill and unflagging determination, underpinned by not missing a single prediction in 13 years. Is this hubris, or simple, undeniable fact?
***Apart from recently, and rather annoyingly Jolly Johnny. And Morty.
ahem, cough, pardon?
And apart from Saddla a few seasons ago.
And Welsh.
But thatās it.
Being serious for a minute, being up there as you have been regularly is an achievement. I sometimes wonder how much of the difference between us all is pure random chance. Some would be,but I donāt know how much. But challenging season on season as you do suggests skill is involved. Now I really know what," Said through gritted teeth " means.
My first season and Iāve found out thereās much more to it than I thought when I just observed. This is my own "work in progress " season, and Iām learning more and more. The poster Iām most impressed with is The Hass ,because it is also his first season.
Without wishing anyone to give their secrets away, Iād be interested to know how people reach their predictions. I try to stay objective and use stats as much as I can. But I wonder if anyone goes by pure gut instinct.
pure gut instinct with a little guesswork and pure luck if it comes off
Same as Chunkster, as you can tell
