Sounds like he’s highly thought of by the Albion could be a great loan signing if all goes well
too much timber? thats his physique he is a naturally stocky kid he is a unit
Yep, it’s not Andy Cook style timber.
I bet he hits all the right scores when testing for body fat and all that. Looks strong as an ox
Has returned to West Brom
Don’t think he actually did anything wrong, just could never get into the squad because we have far too much quality available
Farewell Reyes and thanks for the memories, at least he has that well taken goal against Shrewsbury Town as a momento of his time here. Frees up a space for a fit and firing Doug Taylor in our squad now.
DJT is a big downgrade on Cleary in my opinion.
Hopefully we have someone else lined up.
Never looked very interested TBH … lets hope he finds a level that fits his untold abilities
I don’t think he was all that and didn’t look overly bothered
We can do better to add firepower
I was told it was an attitude thing with him.
Gone back to Albion shame he looked ok when he got a chance
It wouldn’t surprise me.
Was a bit underwhelmed tbh, he had a big reputation at the Baggies.
Frees up a loan slot…or DJT just returns…
A victim of the unexpected success. He’d have featured far more regularly if Lowe hadn’t turned up and team were around 10th.
Have to say I missed this thread over the summer so didn’t realise until now what his first name was, always thought it was Rhys!
According to my oldest, we are looking at someone from York, no idea who it is, not Dale Banton hopefully
It’s that Dipo bloke that’s been rumoured he means no doubt Dale Banton still gives me nightmares Jesus christ
There’s no limit to the number of loans, but you can only name 5 in a matchday squad. We had four players on loan (Simkin, Lowe, Hall, and Cleary), so we had still had one space left if all were in the squad.
Reyes never had a fair crack of the whip with us in all fairness much the same as DJ due to us being so good this season.
The worry in a way is attracting quality reinforcements. We are obviously in a a very good position which would be attractive to most strikers but they will also want guarantees about game time which could be a problem with the form of Matt and lowe
Josh Gordon has been fit and available for some weeks now.
JG was unfortunate to get injured, has worked hard to get fit but found himself down the pecking order (behind DJ and Clearly) on his return. They have earned that right and JG has had to be patient. His return will feel like a new signing. Good management.
Not sure I buy the attitude stuff. Always something rumoured when a player isn’t playing, usually based on nothing but hearsay. Looked like he gave 100 percent to me every time he was on the pitch.
I think he’s a victim of our form, you can’t really change the side. I’d definitely have preferred him to be used a few times rather than chucking Adomah up front, but even in that pecking order he’d be behind Johnson for me. Wrong time for him unfortunately.
