Saddlers Fixtures 23-24

Not good. Early matches I’m likely to be away and Wrexham away on a Tuesday night is a bit crap

It’s definitely a tough start.

Will we have sorted out our team by then? I presume we will still be signing players right up to 31 August the way things are going!

Good month to show what we are worth and what kinda team we have
If we want to be play offs / promotion we should be be having hard months. Teams should be looking at us and going oh jees not the other way around
If we struggle to deal with august or April for example we are lower end or relegation team simple as

So, in terms of difficulty of opening fixtures, it seems that the efl, in their infinite wisdom, have made sure that a team either has 3 of their first 4 fixtures at home, or 3 of their first 4 away. That seems ridiculous and unfair when surely they could easily have made it 2-2 for everyone?

You can, of course, guess which beloved wrexham have been given!!

Brighton the U21 in the tin pot trophy

I love it when the fixtures come out as I’m like a kid in a sweet shop.
It’s quite a difficult start especially as we’ve only added one new face to the team so far.
I don’t know about anyone else or if its just me but it would be nice to see something happening with signings.

I said to someone yesterday I hoped for Morecambe, they’ll have a new squad, perfect opportunity for an early 3 points. But Stockport and Wrexham after that is tough. April is awful, need to be safe by then!

Already booked to go back to Spain on the 27th August so, for me, that’s a cracking list to start the season off. Three easily doable away games.

Deja vu from a couple of seasons ago with Brighton U21 and Forest Green…

The one at the top of this thread is better than the one I downloaded from Saddlers.co.uk. I can’t read it at all!

The difference in graphics quality is absolutely massive, terrible from the club to release them like this.

It makes you wonder, why did no-one apparently say this isn’t good enough, we need to do it again and do it better.
It isn’t as if we are asking for much, just words that can be easily read.

To be fair it just needs a clearer font.

As Jumbo Trudgeon said, it shouldn’t have been passed off, and even as someone who can just about find my way around a computer, that should have been an easy fix.

Ironically, in the long term the Scots league is probably healthier for ejecting both Glasgow clubs. Would allow for actual competition and build a stronger league overall with increased interest give the better playing field.

I cannot stand the phrase “Little Old Walsall” and can’t believe a club official has that as his twitter name. What does it say about what he thinks our potential is?

They do have similar though as they have their youth sides in the challenge cup.

I had been struggling to get excited about the season. Even when the fixtures came out it felt a bit meh.

Then my lad comes home from school and I am showing him the fixtures.

“I haven’t been to Morecambe can we go there dad, Wrexham is a Tuesday but it is in the school holidays can we go? I’ve been to Crewe but I wouldn’t mind going again, Blackburn in the cup, I’d love to go there”

Really cheered me up. I might have to have a lottery win or sell a kidney but we will find a way I’m sure.

Up The Saddlers.
