Scunthorpe United (A) - Sat 24th April, 3pm

Looks like it’s perm any eleven from the usual suspects given the line up for the youth team today.

I’ve been going since around 1962, I’m not bothering watching the rest of the season. I’ve left my season ticket money in the club since covid and am disgusted and dissapointed how far the club has allowed itself to fall though mismanagement and lack of interest in the football side of the business. Its the lowest point in my 59 yrs of supporting them. I’ve spent money on watching most of the away games but I’m done now , I can’t put myself through 90 + minutes of possibly maybe seeing a shot on goal any more. Utter garbage.

Totally agree with you Willenhallsaddler. If the club can’t be bothered then why should I be.
I have left my money for 3 season tickets in the club.

Each to their own though.

really not sure why I’m watching today. the thought of watching a Dutton team next season fills me with dread, not surprised many have better things to do.

Lovely afternoon here so expecting to watch sunshine football on the South Bank of the Humber.

4231 I think. Looks a lot better side, that.

Oh no! Has Derek gone back as well?

Hope so, waste of a place on the bench…

He might want to get a work bench and take up a new career or maybe he’d be a good market/antiques dealer.

Reckon we’ll be lucky to see Holden in a Walsall shirt ever again.

Gordon can chase aimless hoofballs all afternoon. Who’d be a striker in that set up.

A lot better doesn’t mean it will do any good! :joy:

Not worth my £7.

I’ll be following the Grimsby game.

Won’t be wasting another £10 today. Most of the cash must be going to the home side any way at the moment. Any last bit of enthusiasm has finally been ripped out of me for this season. Sooner the season is over and we finally have a clear view of which way the club is going next season the better.

Hope we can sneak a win today but can’t see where the goals are coming from again. Probably another 0-0 for me.

Couldn’t have picked a better team in my opinion. Hope Willis gets a run out. Regardless of where he’s going, Wes needs to put in a performance.

See Nolan has made it as far as the bench.

Thought I’d check out the pre-match action on the thread. But it seems to have become a competition as to whose got the least interest or is going to back the team the least. So here’s my pitch I’m not watching( normally follow on the BBC and here) **AND I haven’t been to a home game for more than 25 years (realised today I’ve only spent 16 months in Walsall in the last 39 years!).
Do I win?

Nice to see Wes get a start. Hopefully he has a point to prove.
