Sadler has 3 games before the early bird launches at the beginning of March.
People keep talking about protests but we know physical protests never materialise in numbers.
I suggest that if people want change when the early bird releases to withhold your money.
Season ticket holders have their seats reserved anyway. Just don’t buy until the EB month is almost over and watch their arses go when they realise how much money they could be losing.
Respond to the early bird email with reply that gives your season ticket number and say you’re not renewing until he’s gone.
A few hundred people doing that is going to have more of an impact than 20 people turning up outside the ground.
Not renewing until Football becomes a priority for the people running the club as a whole and not just a sideshow. Could be a while until Walsall FC see my money again.
I shall get my 3 as usual. I have supported the club through good times and bad times and I ain’t giving up now. Reading some of the stuff on here you would think we are in a similar position to Newport or Harrogate
I am sad and disappointed we look like missing out again but I am not angry. Walsall FC has been part of my life for 68 years and hopefully it will be for a few more .
They’re pretty much always approx 1st March to 1st April.
I’m not saying don’t buy at all, (although some people are free to do that), I’m saying withhold your money as late as possible so they see what they’re potentially going to lose out on.
If a few hundred or more people still haven’t renewed / bought going into the end of the early bird, they’ll lose their arses at the financial implications of not reacting.
Good post. I’ve been going since the Fellows Park days and have been a season ticket holder since Bescot opened in 1990. I’ve always renewed during early bird period but this is the first time I’m seriously thinking about not renewing at all. I just don’t enjoy going to watch the football under Sadler and think the Barnet game was one of the worst I’ve ever witnessed. As bad as anything under Barnwell and I thought I’d never say that. I don’t think I can renew if he’s still here unless there’s a remarkable upturn in our fortunes and play. The only thing I enjoy on matchdays lately is meeting friends in the pub beforehand.
I am also considering paying full price, bottom line if something doesn’t change I may just give it a miss, I am positive I am not doing another season of this type of football.
Do we really need another post we have 3 or 4 running already with the same conversations going on about Sadler out, season ticket renewals, trivela out, board statement.
I have no doubt everyone has their own reasons for choosing to renew or not (in the EB window) but it strikes me that some (me included) are deciding not to renew, not because the love for WFC has diminished - it’s simply because I’m sick of MS non style of hoofball and a notable lack of adaptability when we get found out in the second half of the season/s
I appreciate the theme is becoming a bit boring but the current coach will not change and therefore, the outcome will remain the same….
I won’t renew whilst he is manager and he again, blows what was another great opportunity to build a promotion season from a superb platform…
There are 3 of us who are considering not renewing at all as the football has been really poor. Unable to get excited about the prospect of 90 minutes of boredom. Never thought I would say this after nearly 60 years a Saddler.
3 of us won’t be renewing until Sadler gone and the board show some ambition and a different style of football. I’ll watch on the firestick and keep an eye out for the scores but I won’t waste another penny at home games. I’ll have the odd away game with me mates and that’s it. I’m not even bothering with Shrewsbury or Crewe away. I ain’t paying £26 to watch sadball
