Second Boycott letter

That’s not writing them off, it’s judging them in things they’ve already done and said. Or is that kit allowed either? :joy::joy::joy:

I never said you do :man_shrugging:

They call for things you created and then debunked yourself. I think most fans would just like to see us win to be honest and I don’t feel optimistic about that at the moment.

As everybody will do. There’s no other choice. They always get support where it is due.

I’ll judge them when we see what team they have assembled and how they are performing on the pitch not when they post a couple of letters on the website that a lot of posters are criticising without seeing the outcome.

You’d think people would learn from when owners of Walsall Football Club say things, but their actions don’t quite add up to what’s being written on a page, and not to whinge at those that are a bit more skeptical.

But obviously not :man_shrugging:

But these are not the same owners who have milked us for years or have given us false hopes in video messages.
We cannot foresee what will happen under Trivela because they haven’t been in charge for long enough. But they are making the right moves in getting the Freehold back and making a start on the Saddlers club. What we need is for their long term targets to come to fruition. I have seen nothing that says they won’t (except for some pessimistic posters on here)

Yep. Heard that one a fair bit over the last 4 years as well.

I’ve even heard that one for a good year! The good will from me over a social club renovation has run its course. How about some entertainment for my near 500 quid a year investment

That’s like saying that if Labour win the next election they will do exactly what the tories have been doing fot the last 18 years (or however long its been)

How long is “long enough”, just so we all know.

You what? :joy: nope. It’s like saying:

Just because the politicians are different now it doesn’t mean I’ll just blanket believe everything that comes out of their mouths.

Which coincidentally is pretty sensible by the way.

8 months. That’s normally roughly when all these moaners start parroting the things they’ve been scoffing at all season.

We should at least wait until we see what happens on the pitch. (I won’t get over excited if we win the first game 4-0 like the last season) Lets see how it’s going at Christmas.

Is that when the doom mongers start saying that it wasn’t them who were the prophets of doom.

The exact opposite :joy: read it again.

I know you said the opposite - That’s why I said it.

And its total bollocks. Doing the old 5 year olds argument “no you” doesn’t work here because the converse hasn’t happened 4 years on the bounce. Because the “doom mongers” you’re referring to aren’t saying the things you think they are. You’re reading what you want too, rather than what people are actually saying.

Nobody knows what will happen next season. I don’t. You don’t. The happy clappers don’t. The negative nancys don’t.

But you can judge on actions Vs words already made. You might be happy with that. But at least be in touch with reality to know we’ve been here, with people moaning about negativity, many many times. And those people over the last few years have been invariably correct.

Trivela wont share information about the freehold purchase (the only thing they have actually done) so we will have to wait for the official WFC accounts are published so we can see how much WFC paid (Bonser) for the freehold and consider if it was a ‘good’ deal and try to extrapolate how servicing the debt affects our playing budget.

If WFC are in the bottom half of the table at Christmas and there have been no changes to football operations/personnel we should be VERY concerned that Trivela don’t actually want to or know how to improve the club.

Every damned thread

Yeah, it would be nice if people acknowledged I did tbf.

17%…

Would be a lot less to be fair if people didn’t write it off at the time :man_shrugging::joy: probably some millennials fault :joy::joy::joy:
