Genius all round . A million miles better than anything since Bradshaw as others have said . Touches of Ned Kelly as others have said , and I can’t pay a bigger compliment than that .
His strength, touch, endeavour and drive to better himself deserves a great career
Good second half performance. The big take for me was the performance of Weir. This gives us the option of playing Allen as LWB if Gordon is injured or loses form. I like the look of Browne too…he will be ok for next year if as expected Farquarharson and possibly McEntee leave. Our strength in depth will be needed once we start playing again on the 23rd.We have some massive fixtures in the run up to Christmas.
enjoyed the game, great seeing several players getting a good chunk of time on the pitch. Although the marking for the first goal was absent it was a great finish; accurate, controlled with power. Great cross from Weir. Hall will be a special player if he continues his recovery. I’m hoping we keep him for the season he will murder players in this league. As for the third goal; it was a real team goal we won the ball back and worked for each other to make the opening. As for the finish, has there been a better one since 1961?
Im pleased with the fact players who perhaps looked a but off it for whatever reason are improving with game time. Weir is a prime example. Sign of good recruitment.
Other than Maher who i think looks worse every time i see him, but i dont think he fits in at all to be honest. Perhaps another move is on the cards for him. Maybe im being harsh but he is never going to play here.
I agree and said the same.
Thats the key for me,he’s our player.
He really should have gone out on loan this season he’s nowhere near this team at the moment .he needs games at his age if he’s going to develop.baffling decision by Walsall not finding him somewere .
Maybe they thought he would perform better this year and stake a claim in the side. He had more minutes earlier in the season.
Drogheda?
Toby wasnt savin any of those goals tonight
Meltdown on the Shrewsbury forum
Arrr shame
Why does it feel like we’re back in the early mid 80s where the world is at our feet and no matter who were facing I have that feeling of confidence that we will win and play in style that will make you go - wow we’re good.
Now if only I was 18 again and Fellows Park was still standing , the Tokyo stock exchange futures collapse had never happenend …
He won’t go to Ireland, i know that for sure.
My bet would be Tamworth.
Anyone know the date of the drawer for the next round
I think that they are keeping it close to their chest
That Lowe goal is one of my favourite goals of the season (just a shame it’s in a trophy I couldn’t care less about) Quick one touch passing. A peach of a first time cross and an absolutely perfect finish.
I absolutely love Lowe. Best striker we’ve had in years. He’s got a MASSIVE future ahead of him.
It’s just like watching
