Was speaking to the father of Tommy Simkin on Thursday who said that Walsall had shown interest in him previously . Contracted to Stoke , young goalkeeper , highly thought of . Playing for England u20 ‘s . Made his champ debut this season and spent time on loan at Solihull Moors and Forest Green this season . Walsall based and maybe subject of loan this year . He certainly doesn’t want to be a number two however .
