Matts issue isn’t just his unfit
His been unfit since january
His old now , lost the passion and the drive to make up for his limited ability and now his pace and strength are decreasing there’s little point to him anymore
Doubt he has the desire to even try and step up, he has had his career this is a last payday season before he either retires or hits the non league

Did I read right, Andrew Dallas joined Barnsley.
Sbarra still there, must have about 12 months left on his deal so would be a good pick up in January or next summer as he can score goals from midfield.
Decent work out and result in the end.

Think Barnsley have signed about 5 players from non-league this window? Risky strategy but all the while worth it if they turn up the goods… though difficult to jump from non-league to top of league 1.

Good performance, plenty to be positive about. The Moors defence will be having nightmares about young Freddy Draper for days to come. 
I think Matt will start next week but looked very rusty today and off the pace
