Southend United (A) Tue 23rd Oct, 7.45pm

What a chance that was for Ginnelly…

Wycombe Wanderers 1 Rochdale 0

As things stand, Coventry City are above us in the table … :open_mouth:

Bradford City 0 Coventry City 2 (11 min)

Bad injury?

Southend Utd substitution (injury), 17 min

What on earth has happened to Bradford this season?!

Blackpool 1 Scunthorpe Utd 0 (18 min)

Southend Utd 1 Walsall 0 … following a corner

Sloppies 2 Barnsley 0

Plymouth Argyle 2 Gillingham 0

Charlton Athletic 1 Oxford Utd 0

Luton v Accrington 1-1 now

We are currently 12th in the League One table …

4 lengthy “injury” stoppages in the first 30 minutes at Southend - another Southend substitution.

Bristol Rovers 1 AFC Wimbledon 0

Portsmouth 1 Burton Albion 0 (41 min)

Indeed … they are now bottom of the table, with Plymouth leading against Gillingham!!

8 minute of added on time.

This has Cook written all over it, scrappy game needs some muscle.

going to have a bet on ferrier scoring he looks dangerous tonight

Sounds like a decent response to Saturday but clear lack of confidence infront of goal.

We’ve been the better team. We have to take our chances because Southend aren’t good.

Starting to feel Ginnelly needs a rest. He’s been poor recently.

8 corners and more attempts on goal (5) yet not one effort on target. With the forwards we’ve got, both centre-forwards and attacking midfielders I’d expect a lot better than that, and a lot better than the one goal in four and a half games. Time for somebody to step up and have a go second half, don’t want another Whitneyesque report in the Excrete and Stir tomorrow about how its going to happen on Saturday!

I would expect Dean Keates to make substitutions earlier rather than later.

Doncaster Rovers 0 Sunderland 1 (47 min)

Portsmouth 2 Burton Albion 2 (55 min)

Sloppies 3 Barnsley 1 (60 min)

Peterborough Utd 1 Fleetwood Town 0

Bristol Rovers 2 AFC Wimbledon 0

Luton Town 4 Accrington Stanley 1

Bradford City 1 Coventry City 4 (67 min)

Charlton Athletic 1 Oxford Utd 1

Interesting comparison there. If we end up losing this one, our record in the last 7 will be W2 D1 L4, scoring only 4 goals in those 7 games. Everyone seems quite understanding in the circumstances

Anyway, let’s hope we turn this one around and get a couple of goals.

As at 63 minutes, if you have cash to spare (or burn) the odds for a Walsall win are now 18/1

We now have the 6th lengthy stoppage for injury, which might suggest a dirty game - but there have been no yellow cards (so far) …

Southend Utd yellow card, 70 min

Plymouth Argyle and Wycombe Wanderers both now lead 3-0

Southend’s 2nd yellow card, 72 min

Andy Cook on for Connor Ronan, 73 min

2-0 game over, another conceded from a corner.

It’s not our night is it? Loads of attacking, but now 2-0 down (75 min) :hushed:

Odds for a Walsall win are now a tempting 301/1
