Same guy as mentioned by someone on here yesterday I believe.
Of course he has ties to the MLS…
Fylde are doing well I suppose though.
A data guy. Thats what he is. Expect more runners.
Woopty doo.

Pointless. Someone else to add to the list of people not in charge.
What are the odds of Craig Mahon being our new head coach?
So is the Head of Recruitment Andy McGregor responsible for signings or this guy?
Stewart, who is originally from Preston, will lead the club’s day to day football operations overseeing the Men’s First Team, Academy, player recruitment, medical and performance departments. He will provide strategic leadership across the club’s football structure as we continue to develop and evolve.
Waffletastic
What a load of utter business speak gibberish.
Its a “team”
Which gives me more belief the manager/”head coach” has little say on player recruitment bar a few here and there.
Welcome to Walsall Stewart.
He certainly seems quite driven going out to the US to make a career for himself before joining Fylde where the club to be fair have been successful.
Fylde though are a big fish in national League north and you’d expect them to be near the top.
Hope it works out for him…and us.
Just had a little Google about him and clicked onto this link from June 25. Reads very similar to the article the club have just published.

Even more constraints which then reduces the number of potential candidates who would want to work under something as such.
Welcome Stewart, hopefully this stage 1 of a full reset.
Yep.
I think some of the names people mention are ridiculous as they will want control. We are employing a coach, who gets a set of blokes to work with. This is not a conspiracy theory they have put it out there. More and more clubs operate this way for better or worse.
It works sometimes, sometimes it goes very badly…
At least this blokes lifes work has been spent amongst football recruitment. Hopefully soem good comes of it.
Welcome but not the most inspiring.
He’s got a big job on his hands.
Looks a far better fit than Jamie Fullerton ever did for the equivalent role. Something must have gone right at Fylde too. Will be interesting what happens next.
Just the big appointment we needed to get the juices flowing.
Seems like a lot of overlap between his position as head of football and our recruitment manager.
When are they announcing Wayne Rooney as manager ?
