We pay non league wages !
Welcome Jonny.
Take no notice of the ones with negative views on here, you will soon spot who they are, but they live a very sad life and it helps get things out of their system. Its like therapy.
Personally, I think we are building a very good squad and you will have a good and enjoyable season.
Iād be surprised if we pay anything for this kind of loan, maybe a contribution.
Iāve not seen our new forwards play yet so I canāt judge. With the forwards already at the Club, I canāt say as I am over excited as it stands.
Glad Iām not the only one whose mind went straight to Fred Scuttle!
I predicted Andy Cook would do well and I predicted Freddy Draper would also do well, Shuttle is a similar player to both and that style of player tend to do well in this division, Iām hoping he strikes up a partnership with Pressley and they fire us the goals required to get out this division.
The biggest concern for me is to get a midfielder in who can impose his dominance on the game and boss the midfield, a Martin OāConnor type of player, if weāre able to get this type of player in then I donāt think weāre far off a decent team who will challenge the right end of the division.
As an aside, it feels really odd to be taking a hotshot on loan from Premiership Bournemouth, a team that for decades we played year in year out.
Oh how our respective fortunes have changed! Itās so strange - Jeff didnāt seem to think that they were up to much, nor very well run.
Another potentially good bit of business.
Things now coming together.
Only four weeks on Saturday before we start again
Looking forward to renewing my Saddlers+ season ticket and planning a few trips back to plague island
Might lump on aswell

Welcome to WFC and letās hope he gets goals and we can keep hold of him beyond Januaryā¦
Welcome Jonny. You have some big boots to fill, but the January transfer window could be the biggest, but thatās something normal.
My only concern about this signing is if he is not first choice.
Sadler got lucky last season with Flushās injury.
I would hope that MS starts the season with the new strikers to see if they can
potentially form a partnership, we know how our other forwards play, so hopefully
things will turn out better with the new lads.
But that wasnāt how we played for the first half of the season. We pressed high, won the ball and attacked with pace. We scored some cracking goals, and the performances against Doncaster, Notts County and MK Dons at home were really good attacking displays. We only resorted to hoofball when we ran out of steam, confidence and ideas between February and the end of April. When we changed to a box midfield at the end of April, we played some decent stuff, especially against Chesterfield in the playoffs. Unfortunately, at Wembley, we reverted to hoofball. Iām hopeful that this season, we will play some decent football.
Last season Iād be inclined to agree. However, history shows that if he bangs in the goals he will be back to Bournemouth in January.
However if Bournemouth really rate him they will want him themselves
I donāt think there will be much chance of Bournemouth recalling him , if it does become a discussion point that will mean heās doing well.
Itās okay, weāll be at least 12 points clear by then and odds on for promotion. What could possibly go wrong?!!
Wish weād sign this sort of player ourselves but if a loan has to do then at least itās from a Prem side, less chance of a recall in January Iād hope, unless he does well enough that they want to try him out in League One.. We canāt let it keep happening every January though.
I used to know a bloke called Nelly, the most negative bloke I ever did meet. We used to call him negative Nelly, how we laughed. Well he didnāt, right miserable git
For what it is worth, I am more concerned that Stuttle doesnāt do well than worrying about recalls at this early stage (although obviously understandable with our history). If he flops, I think we are going to struggle, with the other forward players we have.
Could very well do but on the other hand Bournemouth strike me as a forward thinking club , maybe if he scores a few they will see him as one for the future rather than a quick buck
Welcome aboard Jonny.
Lets all be positive, It sounds like we have another Freddie Draper on our hands, that can only be good.
