Swindon Town (A) - League 2 - Sat 17th August, 3:00pm

One of the best performances in recent years. Seems to be a real connection building between the fans and player with various players starting to have their own songs. A fantastic afternoon.

The journey back to the train station was much smoother … Think most the trouble makers had sulked off  even the ones on the train are quiet.

Great day out. My lad got to do the team announcement before the game, he got a few wrong but loved the experience. 4 goals, clean sheet and got Tranmere to look forward to next week.

Ryan Stirk was probably my man of the match he was absolutely everywhere but to new fair every player on the pitch played their part brilliantly.

…and hilarious when you consider they had Charlie Austin playing for them last season, a bloke who made Merson look mobile.

That was a magnificent performance by the saddlers today from start to finish.
At 83 minutes and leading 4. Nil we were fighting for every ball.
Fantastic away support from our wonderful fans.

Just seen that scoreline. Bloody fantastic. Being negative is so boring. UTS.

Any news on Josh Gordon’s injury?

Listened to the commentary on WM, which sounded very positive about the performance. Fans in fine voice lapping it up. Great to read such positive posts on here too, from those who watched it. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

From Sadler’s interview - Josh felt his hamstring after scoring.
Hopefully it’s not too bad.

I’m missing all the negativity…. Might have to pop over to the Swindon forum.
