Well he is 90 according to the Swindon press.
Neck oil is a cracking beer
Bit of a plonker, throws his defender under the bus and then gives no credit to their keeper, who made a couple of great saves. Apparently it was one of those days where everything Walsall hit went in today.
Love Albert already seems a character as well
Very satisfying, deserved victory. Pleased for Josh Gordon and Jamma for getting on the score sheet. I thought their keeper made a very good save from JGās headed chance. What pleases me most of all is the clean sheet, second of the season. So important if we are to make a stab at promotion. What we will also need is luck. Luck on the pitch and with injuries. Itās early days, seen too many false dawns with the Saddlers to get carried away but it feels nice tonight to be top of the league. Come on you Strikerless Sensations!
Just got back with me lad, what a day out firstly the fans were the epitome of the twelth man never stopped singing there hearts out. I think today clicked with my lad why supporting the Saddlers is so special he gets it now, the emotion and the atmosphere created made for a perfect day out.
Lets move on to the team, the lads did all the fundamentals perfectly won all the battles on the pitch. Most importantly they played with passion and gave there all⦠Massive credit to Sadler heās created a great environment within in the club the togetherness is clear to see and i think we are starting to see the fruits of his labour.
Top of the league your having a laugh.
UTS.
We can do no more than play against what the opposition offer
Thereās a lot more turnover in their squad than in ours. Obviously we should be more cohesive than them but they had so little of the play and were so ineffectual when in possession that they never posed a serious threat to us.
We went about our business very efficiently. No weak links, no one overplaying. We stuck to our plan quite ruthlessly, giving them no glimpse of a way back into the game.
Good to hear thatā¦I always say start looking at the League tables after 10 matches but I must admit the table looks good tonight Lets hope we can keep it going.
Not read the whole thread, but do you guys think this was more impressive than the 6-1 against Grimsby?
Lot can happen in 7 weeks
I wasnāt at Grimsby, just watched on I follow, but I struggle to recall a more dominant 90 minutes by us.
Matās response to the last question about an update on a new striker?
There will be people coming inā¦
Thats the main difference between Stirk and Comley, Stirk has the ability to make them good forward passes
Albert is on the way of being up there with the likes of Sawyers, Ledesma and Oztumer for players that are honestly such a joy to watch, if he can keep this up over the season.
Stirk was disappointing last season, but he has started this one well.
Wow
I didnāt expect that
What an absolutely fantastic result, if we play as well as that for the rest of the season, i can see me becoming a regular again (health permitting) pleased for the 2 lads especially Josh, who i have lambasted, and pleased for the travelling fans, who put in as much effort as the players, and i think the players were so appreciative of their support
Fantastic start to the season, now lets get on a roll

Cheers mucka, can always count on you
Every single Walsall player did their bit today.
Well taken goals and an excellent team performance.
The thing that stood out for me was despite having a comfortable lead we fought for every single ball.
No going deep and sitting back just an up and at em mentality from everyone on the field.
I thought my fellow supporters were absolutely outstanding and on days like today it makes you proud to be among them.
Wouldāve been on earlier but just spent the last two hours eating a nice portion of humble pieā¦
All the speculation over the attack but there are some really good CBs at this club currently and imo the three best are being played correctly and itās looking very solid.
Taylor Allen will earn this club some decent money in the next two years, letās hope when he goes itās as a league one player for this club.
Really good start although pretty sure itās the same two scores as the first two games of 22/23? Think that was 4-0 v Hartlepool and 1-0 at Newport and then had a terrible 10 game winless run under Flynn so still not getting too carried away as Swindon are probably another team whoāll be a fair way off top 7 contention.
