It wasnt even directed at him, it was at BB - something along the lines of I welcome the purchase of the freehold and what they’re doing in terms of the Saddlers club so thanks for that, but an easy win would be removing bonsor’s name from the name of that Suite and all trace of him from the club, then Gamble took over talking about in due course looking for sponsorship and that its split into 3 parts and a load of nonsense. JUST RENAME IT FFS get rid of the parasite and take Whalley with it

It should be the Why Shouldn’t I Suite and the separate lounges should be named Rotherham, Luton and Bournemouth.

You are absolutely correct with that comment and I agree with you.
My thinking was that as Ben Boycott states, Trivela are keen to build a connection between themselves and the fans/community that would be a nice touch.
Sadly I don’t suppose for a moment it’s going to be anything more than sentiment on my part.
Money talks and seems to be all that matters which is a sad reflection of reality.

Anyone else wondering why Steffy G got a bit iffy about it, and Boycott said they’re waiting for a sponsor. Not exactoy difficult to change the name of it, so why not do it?
I honestly think we ought to name it the Roy Whalley suite. He’s done a huge amount for the club and there wouldnt be a club without him
Alternatively just stick with Bonser suite. That’s recognition for being the most successful chairman in our history

Probably one of the most ‘successful’ chairman in English football.
I think anyone would struggle to think of another chairman who syphoned the fortune he has out of a football club (especially at our level) for such a small initial ‘investment’.

I wonder how much money he put into the club, actual hard cold cash out of his own pocket? I’m sure Gensanx will know that one…Not recycled money either, from land sale or from player sales blah blah. Did he ever find the opening to his pockets so he could actually get his own wallet out?
