The Locker

As a non-member, i’ll be outside protesting at the £5 admission charge next week.

I will be there with wife and daughter. I know one or two others who will be in there.

I’ll be in there too. I sit a couple of rows behind your wife and daughter in the ground so I’ll be able to come and say hello as I’ll obviously recognise them. :+1:

That is good news. I would like to meet you.

Fair play to those who want to pay £5 for sub-standard beer poured by kids who look like they woke up 5 mins before their shift

I genuinely don’t. Please enlighten me.

It really can be a crap day when the beer ( overpriced ) and the football is bad .watched some bad football over the years but as I used to say to my brother at least the bank’s bitter was worth coming for .now that’s gone! . I now insure I get one out of two by avoiding the stadium for beverages and food . Don’t mind paying a premium in a venue or under any circumstances (holidays ) but a least make it quality.went for a meal out recently restaurant really expensive but food was amazing.if you’re gonna Rob me it least let me keep my trousers

A fiver might not be a lot to some people, but im damn sure it is to me/us at the moment.

If me and my Mrs go to a game thats nearly £50 for tickets and £10 to enter the “canteen”.

£60 before we’ve had a drink or some food.

£10 to sit in an American dinner hall and the privilege to drink over priced piss. Me and my Mrs only ever have a pint each anyway (so in effect £10+ a pint each). Lets face it - its not the most inviting or comfortable looking of places either is it?

Id rather just rough it in the Spoons for a pint as we get off the 529 in town.

Will the locker do food eventually ?

That’s a burning question

If only people had somewhere other than the locker to drink at the stadium before the game that was free entry

Utterly pointless rant.
If you don’t want to pay admission don’t go there, just go somewhere else.
But mainly just stop going on about it. It’s beyond tedious.

You already know the simple answer to this point though don’t you? As with every one, freedom of choice…

The nominal fee is £30 for a whole years use. Less than £2 per game for league games only. Even less if you count cup games. If you’re going to use it a lot it makes so much sense.

If not, pay the fiver and that way we get the very most out of the passing custom.

£1.30 to be exact :grinning:

Makes having a season ticket a little bit more worth it too
