It’s £2 and only on match days.
If you don’t like don’t pay, or perhaps get a membership to lighten the blow. Although that’s less valid now it’s only £2 a pop.

I think they dropped the price because someone panicked and made a bad decision.
There are around 2500plus season ticket holders/members, who can go in for free, it’s always (when I’ve been) pretty well filled. There was absolutely no need to reduce the price as you’re probably getting an extra 100 or so for £2 as opposed to an extra 100 or so at £5, so losing £3 a punter, they’re not going to recover that on beer sales. I’d be kicking someone’s arse if it was my company.
I get that you don’t like the fact that you have to pay to go in, and that inflation has happened since it was the poorly run Saddlers club, and has reopened years later with a more realistic approach to what things cost now.
Perhaps it should still be whatever it was a pint 20 years ago as well?

Well the railway club do fairly well out of the locker charging £5.50 a pint. The railway club make good living charging a lot less.

I find the Railway is more to my taste. It is more how i feel a supporters club should be. I find the Locker too corporate and stiff.
Just how i feel so for home matches The Railway is where i will sup. Happy Days.

I agree, however the beer isn’t to my liking when compared to The Locker, particularly now they have the NoFo craft beers.

Since they dropped the entry price it’s been 5-6 deep getting served. We waited 25 minutes on Saturday just to get 4 pints.

They need more staff to begin with or better using the resources they have.
There was 3 people behind the bar on Saturday with 2 others just wandering round collecting glasses. They also seem to have taken to keeping the small bar closed rather than have more pumps available.
There was a group from NoFo there. God knows what they thought of our organisation.

The higher echelons in the Club just may just take more notice on suggestions to improve the service in the Locker from Nofo above a moaning minnie on a forum perhaps ???
So maybe for the good they were there !
