The Mat Sadler Thread

I think both can play that game… didn’t you say I ignored a question earlier in the week?:wink:

My opinion is that the reason we may not win is as variable as being down to luck through to playing crap! Having some or not having some and them or us playing crap. Or both. It may be a terrible decision by a referee. It may be a mistake by a gk or a forward.

It’s a game of football. Professional football.

You, it seem to believe it’ll be down to not having a winning mentality on UTS :+1::rofl:

Have you butted a book yet mate

History shows we have spent the majority of our time in what is now league one.

It’s been absolutely abysmal for the last 5 years, and one of the worst periods in our history.

Ha ha. Yeah. Unthinkable for the yanks. A pummelling by fgr and Tranmere the reopening of the saddlers club and a 10 million mortgage to pay off with attendances dropping like a stone. We might scrape 4k Saturday.

Sadler is a goner if he can’t get some results

I’m can’t answer a question based on three hypothetical results based on the worst case scenario.

I don’t think Sadler will be sacked. That’s all I can give you.

Encyclopedia mate.

I think he will be in some serious trouble if that (admittedly) hypothetical situation occurred.

I was just testing the waters to see what the SDL would need in order to be concerned. I think you, yourself, admitted last month that if we weren’t pushing into the top half in January - you would be disappointed.

Peel85 has shown time and time again he lives in a shite vaccum of 4th division rubbish as the norm

The previous 125 years seem irrelevant to him

Yes I would. But I’m not responsible for whether he’s sacked mate. To use your logic, I think your confusing a poster on UTS with a being a board member :man_shrugging:

Exactly :joy: I asked for your opinion - on a message board.

78 tickets sold for the next away game. Do you not think that will worry the yanks. A couple of hundred for our biggest local Derby

How naive you are

I don’t think so either I believe he will be here next year I think trivela will have a plan to keep Sadler for the foreseeable and hope he gets us promoted in the next couple of seasons

I think he would be on shaky ground.

I think the only way he goes this season (rightly or wrongly) is if we have another MT situation on our hands.

There is the potential for that to happen with the fixtures in December.

I think we will just have enough to keep our heads above water - but I’ve been completely underwhelmed and disappointed so far this season.

My position has always been that it’s up to Sadler to impress me - as I didn’t want him in the first place. At this point in time there has been no evidence to suggest this season will be better than the last 5 years of crap. That said, I would be very impressed if we came through December and we were knocking on the door of the top 10. I can’t see it myself, but I would be happy. Who wouldn’t be?

98 tickets sold so far for Barrow on a cold Tuesday night how many you expecting us to take lol.

Notts County is still over 2 weeks away so 500 tickets sold so far aint bad probably end up being about 1200

I told you a month ago I’d be disappointed if we aren’t pushing top half come January. I will be.

Would I sack him if we aren’t? No I wouldn’t.

F*cking hell it took Flynn until March (?), 43 league games of generally being in and around the bottom half of the league (barring a brief spell pre Xmas) and two losing spells Sadler hasnt come close to yet and there was still surprise and dissent to him being sacked!!! Despite the evidence of a team had lost its way had no identity, couldn’t score goals and given up on his methods….along with a fanbase sick to death of seeing Owen Evans kick the ball over their left backs head for 90 mins and play some of the worst tripe I’ve ever witnessed……

Sadlers had one window and 20 games to try and make some progress from that starting point and some people on here are treating him like he’s taking a team into the abyss in November!!!

Get a grip pal. You’re a highly intelligent individual who no doubt has to apply a great deal of logic to his life and work skills in order to get through each day and yet you’re getting so caught up in this nonsense you’re letting your frontal lobe do all your thinking for you!!

In what nonsense ?

I don’t follow. I have just said that the only way Sadler will go this season is if we are in a MT situation.

I don’t think that is too unreasonable or nonsensical.

As an addendum - it wouldn’t be the frontal lobes - it would be the temporal lobes

“Your brain’s frontal lobe is home to areas that manage thinking, emotions, personality, judgment, self-control, muscle control and movements, memory storage and more”

It was these areas I think you’re having trouble with in this instance

Wrong.

Just clearly wrong - but that’s not for this thread.

Specially these:

Wrong. Where did you get that from? :joy:

No no no no……it’s a forum I’m allowed to have my opinion….

It makes no difference if you’re more Qualified or experienced than I am on the subject….
