The Mat Sadler Thread

I firmly believe that to keep changing managers all the time is not in anyone’s best interests although there obviously comes a point when it becomes necessary to get rid of someone.
We’re nowhere near that at the moment as far as I’m concerned but I know others don’t agree which is their prerogative.
He wasn’t the first choice but nevertheless he was given the opportunity so he’s never going to get an easy ride.
I’m not anywhere near as knowledgeable as many on this forum but it seems to me that having a board of non football people can’t possibly help.
Personally I would have preferred the Cowleys or to have given Flynn more time but we are where we are.
I hope we win today and things start to pick up for all our sakes.

I dont think Trivela would have much idea about most of the players at this level or below let alone dictating who is signed.

Until people realise it’s about success on the pitch and not property acquisitions then unfortunately we will remain a divided fanbase I think we all want the same but have different ideas and opinions about how and when it will happen which I don’t have a problem with being honest it’ll go one way or the other and someone will have been right in the end.
At the moment it’s no one so shouting other people’s opinions down isn’t valid and will get you absolutely nowhere we are 17th in League 2.
Have a look at tomorrow’s opponents Gillingham absolutely terrible in January and near the bottom of the table took over a good time after us yet they now sit 3rd in the table and have been on paper one of the best teams in the division since there takeover.
Have they bought the ground? No
Have they opened a new supporter’s club?No
Have they invested and delivered on the pitch? So far yes and in a shorter period than Trivela have been here give me that any day of the week I’m a football fan that’s what matters not a freehold or a club no one has missed other than away fans that will charge you over 5 quid for a pint of squirrel piss.

I wouldnt bother looking at tomorrows opponents.

Notts County should sack Luke Williams.

Losing 4-1 at home to a team in the National league 10 years ago is humiliating.

Ah but…

So everybody will be ok with it, apparently.

Have you got a shrine to MS in your bedroom with heart shaped candles burning 24/7 or are you his business partner in the property business

If they were 17th in the League and losing 1-4 at home to Mansfield I have little doubt some of their fans would be calling for his head. The fact is they’re top of the league :man_facepalming:t2:

Just a joke petal :kissing_heart:

That’s a beautiful moment sweetheart

Does this answer the “are the players behind him” question?

I think Issac Hutchinson has made him look like an absolute fool for last week

How so?

Sutton lost 4-1 today, so absolutely we should not have lost 4-0 to them last week, if Sadler and the team are as good as certain people are now coming out with.

We gain consistency from here, then fantastic, and clearly Sadler is learning, if we continue pulling results like this out of the bag, then losing the next game in an abject fashion, then people can still complain with some reason, as we’ll not move forwards.

Also, this formation was forced upon him, had we still been playing 352 it might well be different.
