Alfie Chang, Michael Mellon, Dylan Sloan, and Issac Lee. Are the current credible rumours. I think if we were to sign all 4 players we would be in a great position but dont see it personally. Iâd be more than happy with just Mellon and Chang signing. But donât feel thereâs any rush with still a month of the window left.

I would concur with that, I feel that we are pretty well covered in defence.
Mellon would be a great signing for how we play.

We seen yesterday how the importance of subs are in the modern game.
Stuttle and Mellon will share game time as will Pressley/Matt obviously Pressley playing more minutes.
These are great options to have and in all fairness we certainly look far better as a squad as we did last season, keeping them all happy will be MS biggest problem.

I thought teams could only make subs at 3 stages throughout the game didnât Swindon make subs at 4?
Apparently the HT sub did not count. The 3 are during play. There are some strange rules these days!

Correct, itâs four stoppages in play, half time is already a stoppage.
That is correct 3 windows during play, plus an extra one at half-time. You also get extra ones in cup games that go to extra time, plus at least 1 additional in case of the concussion protocol.

Wouldnât surprise me if we revisited the George Hall deal towards the end of the window.

One thing to think about is squad happiness and actually utilizing the squad⌠with some first team players not even making the bench. We had the same issues last seasonâŚ
I feel like the squad is too big to be honest - even more so with more additions. I think a few need to go out - but canât see that happening. Comley and Gordon for two examples.

All of those AND Sawyers? I think 2, maybe 3 tops (going off MS saying he was looking at maybe 4 more coming in before Hollmann was announced).
Weâve already got several supposed 1st team players not making the bench (Gordon, Cox, Burke, Harper, RAM for a start from yesterday, never mind those out on loan) so stuffing in a few more higher up the pecking order might put a few noses out of joint.

Fair play to the club if we get Mellon and Chang in - showâs theyâve got some ambition. Delighted with all of the signings this summer and showâs weâre learning after mistakes like DJ (just the wrong player for Sadler) and Gordon (not really good enough).

Why sign Warrington if weâre planning to sign Chang?
I agree with that. Players want to be involved and when they arenât they can cause unrest.
