Yep and gets away with straight up insulting people just because he attaches an ai image to it.
But hey, people love a post that says “we may or may not sign a player, and it may or may not be in the next week. Fetch my worms”

Exactly !. Thats what I thought. Hence fits the bill perfectly. To be fair. He could be decent in League 2 if we dont go up.
The guy doesn’t exist. Has anyone actually SEEN this individual? Perhaps another ghost salary to appease the taxman.
I would imagine very few decent footballers out there would want to come to a club like Walsall in the 4th Division next season with a manager that wouldn’t get a gig as a Sunday morning League boss. Unless of course you are a clogger or a hoofer, who ‘gets on’ with the boss.
Whatever division we end up in, whether Sadler’s here or not, it looks like a summer of change in terms of sqaud as there’s a few out of contract, so another summer of overhaul in term of players, which we didn’t get last summer
It will be interesting when we do sign new players guessing who are going to be “Sleepers”.
Which makes the whole incremental progress meaningless. You need to be signing a good number of the squad on 3 or 4 year deals to do that and its never going to happen
Any chance of signing Ben Woods from Accrington?
Walton would be my choice.Ran his socks off.
Ryan Bowman released by Cheltenham, wouldn’t be surprised if we were in for him, would be a cost effective option up front, vastly experienced and would lead the line with aplomb.
Theo Vassell released by Barrow, a really solid L2 performer and a real handful at set pieces, again would be relatively low wages.
Harry Chapman released by Barnet, Harry was a champion. Easy on the eye midfielder with a good engine.
Bowman has scored 18 league goals in the last 4 seasons, no aplomb there.
His experience would come in clutch too.
I think he would be an Andy Williams type, bought in for his experience amongst the group and ability to hold the ball up and pop up with the odd vital goal rather than a prolific goalscorer.
We have one of them.
Hmmm, Williams not the best example to use as a comparison there Crodders.
News from the South West…
Ben Waine, released from relegated Argyle. He has potential but wouldn’t be out of our market as he hasn’t been prolific… The sort of player you can sign and offer him a platform to get up the leagues.
Coming off a season long loan at Mansfield this year. Young, pacy and New Zealand international (8 goals 23 caps). Well regarded at Mansfield and Plymouth and qualified for the world cup!
I have seen him play and I reckon he would do really well for Walsall, He reminds me of Nathan Lowe! He has been held back in part by Rooney’s management and form from Ryan Hardie / André Grey / Michael Obafemi…
Theo Vassell chose to leave so I’m told interest from bigger clubs than Barrow
Rules us out then
Wasn’t he on trial here a few years back?
