The Official Summer Transfer Rumour Thread - 2025 edition

Barrell scraping ideas…so could happen then. Theo Vassell was on trial with us, a few years ago.

I’m sure Vassell was signed permanently on a year’s contract. Don’t recall him making an appearance. Can’t remember who signed him, possibly Whitney.

I thought so as well. Didnt he go out on loan for the season then get released

Joined Chester I think within a week of joining us, think he was recommend to Whitney by Dean Holden.

Good CF down the years albeit he gets injured regularly.

Being part Welsh still love that header he scored v Belgium.

Isn’t he nearly as old as Jamma is? Really need to be getting the average age of the forward line down over the summer.

Paul Digby being released by Cambridge, would be an outstanding addition to our midfield.

Donovan Wilson released by Grimsby, one I think we will be keeping tabs on.

I think most the out of contract will leave - massive rebuild required. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple off to the USA to join up with Smith (via his link with ROK).Jellies, Williams, Mr. Handball, Hall, Chang

They sound amazing all these players you are suggesting we sign.

Hell why not i guess !!!. Fill the squad with a load of players not deemed good enough for the 4th division !!!

I understand Kevin Ellison is still prolific. Why dont you suggest him. Hes only 48

i’m just being realistic about the players I think we could be in for if we don’t go up.

You’re never realistic. That’s your whole point.

King Crod’s world is far better than reality!

We need escapism and dreams to help us survive this cruel world!

Even kings and queens have to dream sometimes…

You can’t blame him for what’s happened and then not give him the praise if he turns it around! If we win the playoffs, we should stick with him in my opinion, if we don’t, then yes he should go.

I don’t know why we bother speculating on these decent experienced players because we never sign them. Try looking at reserves of Bromley etc and have a good look at players who have been out with serious long term injuries then you might be getting nearer the mark

Based on your suggestions to date we may as well all set our sat navs for a National League tour.

We generally sign cast-offs from teams in our division, or players returning from long-term injuries who have hardly played in 2 seasons, or young, untried loanees who have very little experience in men’s football, or players who are well over the hill….and we wonder why we rarely do well. It needs to change for this coming season, whichever division we are in!

Andy williams and Gary Liddle are available

I think I’d prefer Gary Williams and Andy Liddle. There combined age cant be much more than Jamma and Albert

I’m still waiting for Pomletets game changer
