Appreciate that totally. However, i take exception when its the same opinion, said in dozens of different ways, rammed down peoples throats in hope that people will give in and agree.

third pre season game tomorrow and we still haven’t got any forwards in , I was always led to believe pre season friendlies were to give the team minutes together so they were ready for the first league match … silly me

If you could actually have a reasonable discussion with people about your “opinions”, there wouldnt be an issue.
Pick a thread, any one, it doesnt matter. I come online and its hi-jacked with the same waffle as every other thread on here. Doesnt matter what the original topic is. The “striker situation/trialists” comment pops up for example.
Then what happens? You repeat it over and over until people react/get fed up/call you out/provide you with evidence to the contrary and you dissappear/refuse to read articles etc placed in front of you.
A few hours later, you resurface, with the same comments having another chip away at it. Its nonsense.
Pay a visit to the Crowman and get him to sort you out a thinking head - people may take you a bit more serious.

Just had an amazing idea how about starting a transfer rumour thread , people could put bits of news on concerning possible incoming players or outgoing just a thought , it might catch on

Gensanx posts do become repetitive, but then again people still engage with them.
I don’t agree with all the points made but worryingly my views on some matters are closer to his than some really established posters on here.
I am waiting on the club to pull a couple of rabbits out the hat to change my mind. Only 3 weeks until the big kick off.

But others, such as Oldham, have fared worse. Football is an up and down game. We have had a bad few years, sure, but there are signs of it getting better. There is no need to be all doom and gloom three weeks before the season even starts.

At the end of the day, it’s just a message forum. We ain’t gonna change the world by what we post. I use this forum as a form of catharsis, letting off steam because I’m frustrated with the club and its lack of achievement. I’ve supported this club for nearly 60 years, it’s been a triumph of hope over experience! It ain’t likely to change over the next 60.
