This is where I stand, I hope and expect the players we are after are worth playing the long game for rather than panicking to get anyone in with still 3 weeks to the start of the season. The DJ setback has been a fly in the ointment to this approach though and has really necessitated us to expedite at least one of these forward signings.

I think Will Evans is being strongly linked with Bristol Rovers
They have signed CF Promise Omochere today from Fleetwood for a big transfer fee so unlikely to splash out again for another CF.

I heard it was Blackburn who was interested in Evans doubt weād be able to compete with any League 1/ Championship sides. But it would be a statement signing if we did pull it off
He is yet to play in pre-season for County due to a niggling injury.
Absolutely no chance Evans will come here. Even on the off chance we made a respectable bid.
