Maybe Mansfield will take DJ in exchange for Swan ,

Maybe they would take Gordon and it was all a special plan after all !!!

Would we have to break our record for Swan ?

The way Mansfield have done business with us in the past you would probably think so wouldn’t you.

I could only see Mansfield agreeing to a loan deal for Swan. That would be purely for us to get him fit to be recalled in January. No thanks, we’ve been here before!

If the rumours about Johnson’s injury/condition are true then I can’t see him getting a loan in this window.

If that happens, I’ll streak around the Bescot at the Morecambe game! More likely Kamwa and a loanee from a Championship academy side.

Would Solihull be an option for Danny? It may well suit all parties and a change of environment might help without being too disruptive to his family life. I’m sure that Sadler and Whing have considered it.

I’m genuinely sympathetic with Danny because nobody tries to be ā€˜off work’; however, having had to cover the work of colleagues in my workplace for no extra pay/thanks myself, I do understand how compassion can only go so far until difficult decisions need to be made.

Very happy with Faal on a season-long loan - let’s hope it’s true, but let’s not put all our eggs in one basket!

My patience is starting to wear a bit thin with DJ: he wasn’t fit for the start of last season and seemingly couldn’t do 90 minutes at any stage of that season. He’s out again: is he looking after himself properly, the way a professional footballer should?

Yes excellent post perhaps we should all bookmark it for future reference and some read it before posting .

Its been days of BS back and forth in this thread. I thought there was going to be a rumours #3 announced.

Faal - At last a rumour!

Like others said, i thought he was great and pony at the same time. Would like to see him down the Bezla though.

Me too lots of potential think he was always our number 1 target to get him back …but like a few players in this team it’s another one who’s a bit of a gamble as to how he’ll perform .but he’s definitely got the makings.definitely need another striker ,hope it’s not just some loan squad filler to make numbers up.hope we’re done with those sort .just hope like you say we haven’t put all our eggs in one basket.

Yeah I’d be happy with that loan move if it came to it, much better than seeing him do well at a club in our league.

I don’t know how true the rumour of his condition is so I’m not going to mention it but IF it’s true, it isn’t really his fault this one and will need the club to help him.

That said, I’m still not 100% sure if it is that or whether we just don’t want him in and around the first team and Sadler wants to get rid, it’s probably a bit of a stretch but that’s what supporting a club which has often hid the truth has done to me.

I would welcome him, i think that he has SOMETHING, but we can’t afford to put all our hopes on him being the next Adebayo, he is still rough around the edges, and he was as bad as he was good last season, we need someone to hit the floor running, not someone who is still learning their trade

That’s the really strange bit for me .coming in every day doing stuff on his own .sound more doing the necessary contract wise .

He was at Alvechurch in the dugout last week and appeared happy enough

Faal coming back isn’t a thing is it? Surely if it was going to happen it would have happened by now, it wouldn’t help him or the club if he was parachuted in at the very last minute.

Lot different to being out on the training field with the rest of squad doing some gentle fitness work .even to the side with individual coach.
