I’d ship him out on loan, don’t think he’s good enough YET for league 2
He trained with us this morning, know a few blues fans and they’re all astonished that we have been able to get him! They have said championship was comfortably his level if he hadn’t had a few niggling injuries but when his come back he hasn’t been able to get consistent minutes, think this may be our best signing this summer providing he stays fit! I’d say it’ll be stirk, Jellis, Hall then imagine comley, earing, Lakin to bring on😮💨

On Tuesday Maher played in the right midfield and Earing played the same role on the left, so it was possible to compare the contributions made by each player against League 1 opposition.
In my opinion Maher was much more effective than Earing against Huddersfield, he was in the game a lot more, and made better use of the ball when he had it.

Probably competition for Lakin and also cover for Earing when he inevitably gets injured.
Fair play to the club if they can get this one done.
I said previously that it was a big few weeks coming up for the club and they’ve fully silenced any doubts that I had. That’ll teach me for being impatient, but many a Walsall fan will have had doubts based on prior experience. I’ll still err on the side of caution due to the hope being the one that kills you! 
The squad looks very well balanced, with adequate cover in all positions. Looks like our best squad since being relegated.

I disagree, RAM for me holds onto the ball far too long and is very poor off it. We looked more of a threat after and ended up scoring when RAM went off
