While taking another few thousand on ifollow of loyal fans :flushed:

I wonder what the record is for away league draws in a season?

Our record at the moment is

W3 D13 L4

Has a team ever been so low in the table at this stage of a campaign with fewer away defeats?

I doubt it.

I remember a few year’s back Lee Clark got sacked by Huddlesfield he lost something like 4 games in 60 or something mental a lot of those games must have been draws to get sacked after only losing 4 games

Strange to think we have only lost one more than Cambridge.

Indeed. It doesn’t take that much imagination to see us much higher in the table.

It’s mad to think in league 2 you can Lose 50% of your games and as long as u win the other 50% you’d go up .
Imagine losing every home game winning every away and going up without the majority of your own fans seeing it :rofl:

Undy won 5-3! Great game had it all, even a crossbar from the half way line.

I probably post this once a month but O’Driscoll was sacked having not lost a league away game in his short spell here.

He was a panic sacking

An occasional (successful ) relegation scrap much more interesting than mid table boredom.

Well done Bri.

Imagination, something our team has little of. You could say our club has little of too.

For every 3 draws it is effectively 2 defeats. Exactly why 3 points for a win was brought in many years ago. It is good to be hard to beat obviously but we are limping to safety based on the fact Dutton had a huge head start on the clubs that are chasing us.

Interesting that Mansfield and Barrow are both not far behind us in terms of draws. Only 8 wins out of 39 games is a shocking return whatever way you look at it.

It certainly is but it makes you think that with a fully fit Holden and 2 good strikers things could be very different!!!

… and decent midfielders… and decent defenders… and a consistent goalie…

ie a different team! We can wish we had Holden all we like but he’ll be off in July.

Still believe we are in danger, if Southend can run Play Off Morecambe almost to home defeat, they may produce a few more surprises before the end of the season, as will Grimsby, guaranteed.
So it will be squeaky bum time if we can’t produce a win from somewhere, 0-0 is all very well, but it only takes a second for that to become a 1-0 defeat, we all know for certain it certainly wouldn’t be the other way round!
