Training pitches

I didn’t realise that, so did we build the facility or convert an existing building?

So why was it heralded as the best thing since sliced bread when bonzo was trying to explain where the money was going? “we have invested heavily in new training facilities” was i think one of the quotes at the time? more smoke and mirrors.

Can never understand this frequent obsession with irrigating the pitch, then our players struggle to keep their feet during a game.

Shouldn’t they get it into a useable state otherwise we shouldn’t pay the lease.

Not fit for purpose springs to mind

But it was reported as being more than fit

About as fit as you in a race then

Just some pitches and some outbuildings essentially.

You would be surprised how some clubs still don’t have this in 2020 mind.

The cricket grounds have got it cracked. The outfields drain amazingly quickly after heavy rain.
