He was rewarded for at best mediocrity the end of last season when he was very lucky to keep his job.

Why the need right now to improve it ? He has us doing what we should be. Challenging for promotion.

Also consider the optics. Manager rewarded … how will a Jellis feel if he thinks his offer is to low? Or another squad member who hasn’t been offered anything yet. Tricky

Also getting the job done. If we miss out on promotion we may as well finish 17th. Promotion is everything.

Celebrating promotion before it’s in the bag is what caps it off for me. I’m all for recognition and a party. But come on

Suggesting it’s glass half empty or overly negative for seeing the potential pitfalls in certain decisions isn’t fair especially when they are entirely plausible and possible.

Let’s just get the job done this season before hailing him as this or that.

I felt we should have achieved something last season. When it clicked in that middle third of the season it showed the capability was there. Bad management, bad use of The keepers and Daniels were concerning. Bad signings like Gordon.
