Cant wait, love a boxing day match. 2 nil, flint header and Lakin to finally hit the target with a frost covered ball keeping it down. We’ll be wearing woolly undercrackers, its brass monkeys out there! ![]()

We’ve got a good recent Boxing Day record (won the last 3) and confident we’ll keep it going today. 3-1. UTS!
2-0 to the Saddlers,
Flint and Kanu.
I’d settle for any win, but another clean sheet would be great. Miserly over Christmas and the new year, defensively of course. UTS!
Love a Boxing Day fixture!
3-1. Kanu, Lakin and Jellis.
Loud and proud Saddlers! ![]()
We don’t have a great home record this season.
In all competitions: P 12, W 6, L 4, D 2 (including penalty win over Chelsea). In the league 19 points out of 30, and only 2 clean sheets. I think clubs know how we play and can setup to frustrate us.
We need a clean sheet, and we need to perform for 90 minutes. Subs will be important.
Hoping for 2-0, but wouldn’t be surprised with another 1-1.
I expect Sadler to pick
- Roberts
- Priestly, Flint, Weir
- Barrett, Finnegan, Warrington, Clarke, Okeke
- Pressley, Kanu
but would prefer Comley for Warrington.
Subs: Hornby, Browne, Comley, Adomah, Matt, Lakin, Jellis
Just the 3 changes from Saturday’s starting XI. Stronger or weaker? ![]()
Confirmation Priest’s injury not as bad as initially feared.
I don’t like that midfield one bit.
Better off with Comley than Warrington
Poor old jake …never gets a sniff.
Still no Hollman
Huge match for JJ. Needs to show us he’s back to his best. UTS
Didn’t work him playing on the left last season. I presume he’s there today.
Literally nothing in it.
Neither do I. It needs a very sudden (re)discovery of form from Jellis and Comley.
For Jellis you have to hope that Sadler’s faith and belief in him leads to some pay back.
PF had a relapse?
I have, I’m going to have a crack at Three Little Maids from the mikado, hope you’ll all join in on the corus
.
