You may be right I just think for a bloke of his size he should be a lot more threatening from set pieces.
His timing is very poor, hence why he doesn’t score from set pieces.
To be fair he did win the first flick on from the long throw that we scored from yesterday. He’s also probably always being marked by the opposition’s tallest player.

Monthe is now one of only two outfield players without a goal from the team that started the last 2 games. Kinsella is the other. Comley and Williams have also scored.
Well they do often have the ref lol
Monthe, Daniels and even White should be a nightmare for the opposition from set pieces. Yet they strangely ineffective or our delivery ends up falling to the head of a Bennett/ Kinsella.
Flynn ran up to him at full time and made a motion towards him for a flick on before giving him a hug, I guess he was saying how important that was

The danger is we are always looking to counteract the opposition, when we need to be good enough to let them worry about us and not vice versa. We were playing Rochdale not Orient.
We may have been poor, but we won. The last couple of seasons we would have drawn or lost this game and lost vs Sutton and Stockport.
This is progress, because we are better organised and can hang on and grind out results.

I know he didn’t trouble us yesterday and didn’t have a sniff in front of goal but Henderson is such a good player at this level. His movement is good, he always seems to get in front of his centre half and is just a general nuisance. Everything I hoped Williams would be

Has anyone else heard the Paul Downing rumour? Seems a strange one as we have enough centre backs?
Where has that rumour started ? Not sure we need him tbh and he wouldn’t sign to be “cover” surely?

I agree with the Chairman on this. Data and statistics can only tell you so much. The rest is a combination of teamwork, skill and luck.
