Why do we all love Wilkinson? What’s the big deal?
Apart from him being our best technical player alongside Hutchinson , only play capeable or scoring a worldie , winds up opposition fans and players, seems like a really good guy who’s relatable and determined ( if a little bit of a whiner ) and seems to love being at the club and loves our fans I just don’t get it at all

Having read Kingcrods contribution I’m also toying with coming to lose my seasonal virginity.
Will depend on how much enthusiasm versus the stress of bumping the train at least some of the way, because hell will freeze before I pay 60 quid from Newcastle to Doncaster on the off chance that an actual train might turn up at some point.

I’d take a draw tonight and move on.These have a habit of conceding first and have thrown a few shockers in on their own patch,so us to take the lead then them to equalise in the second half 1-1 draw for me.

Looks like Labadie is still some way off. Says Riley is at least a month away, which is the first time I have heard any kind of time frame mentioned for him.

A month for Riley is promising because that means if Bennett does return to Cambridge next month, we have a replacement already here instead of signing someone else.

Any body else not that bothered about Labadie coming back? Sounds a little harsh but I’ve not really missed the lack of discipline and flashing of yellow cards on a regular basis.

Labadie is one of our worst midfielders of recent times
I’d loan him out tbh or if I was manager I’d sell him for £1

Think there are occasional games we miss his physicality but on the whole no .
I fear once fully fit Labadie will be Flynns first name on the teamsheet.
He never waves…get rid
As much as he picks up cards I’d take Labadie in the side over Comley but not anyone else.

There were games last season where he was immense.
Oldham away - he, Earing and Osadebe suddenly clicked. Roles really clear and executed very well.
Other times he was a liability.
Maybe we’re a step closer to the dream midfield of Labadie, Comley and Kinsella. A screen, protecting a screen, protecting a screen, protecting a screen, protecting a screen, protecting our goal.

Closest I can see are a Brewers fayre, a Bernie inn and the Salutation which looks quite good and maybe my choice.

No it’s not. Even if those events line up he’s not going to be match fit day one. I’d suggest being out for this long and expecting him to have any meaningful impact on this season is being very generous.
That’s without taking into account the fact it sounds more and more Holden-esque by the day.
