Put out an appeal for all fans who own a patio heater to pop them down .and get a free sausage roll on match day .contact all the season ticket holders and members first as these are the most well heeled among us
Maybe after drinking a few pints of NoFo beer, we can produce some Philly-ass-fog!
And thatâs not guaranteed. The pitch might be playable, but if the elf and safety mafia from the council or the police deem that the surrounding area is unsafe for spectators, itâs game off.
Hope the game IS on tomorrow
Spoke to my sister today, as you all know my dad has vascular dementia, but he still remembers me and he still asks about the Saddlers, and in fact he still makes sense and you can only tell when you ask him to do little things like âpass that bag dadâ and he will say âi donât understand?â
And my sister told me today that while sitting in the car with him the other day, she explained to him that he will forget who we are one day
And he held her hand and said " i know but just remember that whatever happens, you and Mark will always remain in my heart no matter what i say or do"
Broke me tonight, and i canât stop crying.
So i am going to pick him up tomorrow and watch the game with him on my firestick while i still can
God bless chunkster, you do that and enjoy him whilst you can. Have a brilliant day tomorrow
Just donât ring me up moaning when it donât work
I will come round yours
Whats our record with these games where weve got them on at all costs?
I always hark back to when we did Bournemouth with
David James in goal and the infamous 4-0 v Coventry. Up there with the absolute complete performances in my lifetime.
When the ground freezes it doesnât mean one day of above freezing temps will make it playable, a couple nights of bad frost can take upto 3 days to thaw out.
Like defrosting a frozen turkey in the fridge.
Iâm going off subject here , but Iâm enjoying walking across Pelsall common and enjoying walking thru frozen fog shit and itâs not on the bottom of my shoes
Indeed. Itâs not going to be tonightâs weather that dictates it.
Itâs going to be how well itâs recovered from the freezing temperatures last night and the night before.
Enjoy being with your dad. My dad had vascular dementia and the only time he told me he loved me (although I knew he did but due to his tough upbringing in the 30s he couldnât show his feelings) was the day before he died. It is a cruel illness for the person concerned and their family.
That donât look like itâs had a cover on at all
Should be a 10. 30 ish inspection!!!
Donât want to give the ref a chance to call it off to early unnecessarily.
Sounds like a good decision to have it at 9 but could back fire as 11 would have given away support plenty of time still and the pitch would be in a better condition for inspection
Life can be very difficult and having to deal with the situation you and your family find yourselves in must be absolutely heartbreaking.
Take each day as it comes and take care of yourselves and each other.
Got lost on there once in the fog 2 hours .went to a mates house corner coronation road I think .60 years ago got of my head on his dads parsnip wine .never been so drunk only young .every time a pass now I still get headache
