What has stopped us putting in performances like that all season? and will we push on from this? because this win will only be worth a few bragging rites

Depends on wether we keep the backslapping going. We do it too many times after a win or a couple of wins, club thinks its easy and they slack off.
I wont hold my breath, just enjoying todays victory.

Easy answer, because the system (and I use the term loosely) rarely works as evidenced by the results.
We win one game after losing the first half and suddenly all is right in the world.

Priestley being back is a massive difference, gives so much more confidence in defence and helps midfield drive forward and press the opposition
Really feel we need a fit squad to be consistent

I’ll go one further.
Do people really think that those questioning the football side of things, think that we will lose every game? 
I’d be more impressed if we went on a 3/4 game winning streak, looked good at home, and scored more. One game does not change how I feel. I’ll sit up and take not if we do turn the corner, but just enjoying the fact we’ve won and moved away from the bottom 2.

Why is this league shit? The standard is probably the highest it has ever been in my opinion… I thought Notts County were technically very good, as are some other teams in the league. It’s not hoofball anymore from what I see.

It really is. Its not like ten years ago, everyone is technical and passes the ball, or tries too. Its more difficult than ever with money too. But thats not an excuse for me, but i cant be arsed with debating tonight. That second half has given me such joy. We even saw the game out without an ounce of danger.

Be happy with what is a great away win, chuffed for the away fans who I have the utmost respect for, I think we’ve equalled last season’s away league wins record today so they deserve it more than anyone.
It shouldn’t be a point scored if you supported Sadler or not, we all want this club to do well and that’s the crux of it. Am I eating humble pie today, of course and I’m very happy too. Enjoy the win and the enjoy the weekend. UTS.

That is totally unprofessional from Flynn, I can’t believe he’d call out his own player so publicly. This is the kind of thing that ruins the player/manager relationship. I can’t imagine Mat Sadler ever doing that, which is probably why he still has the dressing room.

I am delighted with the win. It was likely that Sadler would have been sacked if the second half had been like the first. I really hope that Sadler learns from his mistakes and proves right those of us who were against him being sacked.
Has anyone commented that Notts County simply did not turn up for the second half? We scored two goals and had much more possession, but it seemed as if County were a different team after the break.
