W 2-1 vs Notts County (A) - League Two - Sat 9th Dec, 3pm

I Agree the quality of football, fitness levels and professionalism is miles higher than in 2005 and definitely more than the early nineties when I’ve seen players having a fag!

It’s going to be a hoot

He prefers night matches. Fit with his lifestyle better.

I wonder whether DJ will be involved on Tuesday.

On one hand, it’s not great that he’s not travelling with the squad, regardless of injury or young family.

On the other, maybe he thinks that a move in January will be for the best and he wants to avoid injury.

If I was Boycott, I’d be demanding a meeting with DJ, his agent and Sadler because they need their heads banging together. I know that there’s 2 sides to every story but he’s probably the best goal poacher we’ve had for years so surely it’s worth finding a way to get him involved and feeling happy and confident again…

Notts county sound like us only 6th in the table

What I take from it is simple.
Forget their goalkeeper ,midfield or forward line because the fact of the matter is we played them off the park.
We matched them first half and improved second half and they couldn’t stay with us.
The saddlers hit top form and we stopped them dead in their tracks.

That second goal was sublime. Loved the save earlier to keep us in it too, but as we all know, goals scored don’t influence games…

Ive got to admit ive been one of the most vocal on here regarding MS and being in the MS out camp . Although ive always stated MS has every chance to change my mind even though im firmly in the MS camp at the minute.

The perfomance and result on Saturday is quite possibly the start of that , same against Alfreton and Tranmere ill start to think yes hes finally turned a corner . Ive never expected a top 3 finish or a top 7 finish just wanted to see passion and some playing DNA.

Well done to MS and well done to the super saddlers for saturday you did us proud  lets go on now and move up the table to where i expected us this season 10th-12th

According to their Manager we “ steamrolled “ them in the second half. We have done that once or twice before this season. Do it more consistently and we will climb the table. Not pretty but effective at this level.

that away end was something else, we’ve shown we have the players to mix in with one of the so called “best teams” in the league. We just need to find consistency
