Possibly, yet another player who’s being played out of position though. If Sadler is unable to get a tune out of our most creative player then yes maybe the bench is the best place for him if we’re going hoofing it to Draper for the 90 minutes.
Good to see Williams in the squad. I’d be tempted to go with 3 centre halves but without Foulkes, there is no attacking threat from Okagbue.
Going for a smash and grab today, I think.

We haven’t won any of our last 6 league matches and we’ve set up for a draw.
I know they’re likely to turn us over anyway but they only look vulnerable when teams go at them, so we’ve decided to go ultra defensive. I honestly can’t believe that team.
I hope we win and I’m wrong, but I just can’t see the logic there.

Not very inspiring.
But then, I’m not sure what version of a first eleven would be. I think there are at least three players there who are at least one but maybe two levels above where their talent suggests they should be.
Not there today. My lad is though.
Fairs to the other nine hundred or so. When Sadler says “we wanna be together” I’d suggest the fans are doing their bit.

I actually asked if Hutch was on the pitch against Alfreton.One strike and goal from outside the area in 10-15 games isn’t enough.Bringing Comley in for him shows exactly what we will try and do here.

Depressing line-up. Saddler’s preference for limited players (Stirk, Tierney, Knowles) over relatively talented players (Maher, Lalkovic) frustates me more than his treatment of DJ and is nudging me towards the Saddler out crew.

I am sick n tired of the submissive, defeatist approach that Sadler has brought to our team. There has been nothing all season, not a single game that we have confidently bossed from start to finish lives in the memory… defeat today and dire performance on Tuesday has to be the end for Sadler … BB “stability” does not come from burying heads in the sand and ignoring the obvious… MS is not the answer that’s plain to see so do not be influenced by Pombears bullshit he shud be nowhere near this club

Slightly off topic given that the team news has just come out, but in the match preview yesterday, Sadler said something that really surprised me.
The interviewer said that Notts County seem to win one, lose one, win one, lose one and Sadler replied ‘well let’s hope they won the last one and are due a loss’.
How does he not know their last result? Surely he’s at least studied the goals as a minimum? I’d have thought you’d watch the whole game and then endlessly focus on smaller segments and patterns of goals/play with the video analyst.
To not even know their last result seemed unbelievable to me.
