Gordon on international duty so at least on change needed
Also be good to see Ancient Moaner for 1st time in ages. Poor lad hasnt been too well so i was delighted when i spoke to him yesterday and he said he was going
Be great to hear him moaning again top lad
I forgot about that!
Makes the return of Hussey more justifiable though, I suppose.
I really hope that Sadler doesnāt inadvertently alienate DJ, but a hot day might not be conducive to a 31 year old ginger who is a fox in the box.
Keep it tight and bring on our most potent attacking talent against tiring legs.
Itāll be fun at yours later tonight then Belg after a few beers at the game and watching the England game together
His bags will be outside if Ukraine win
Anyone know if parking is available close to the Star Inn?
Slight problem being that the ground is nowhere near Salford, the only British city with no town centre. As Grimsby is to Cleethorps, the ground is nearer to Bury!
To those going, well done, hope we come away with some points at least.
Iām off to the coast with family, will have my phone handy throughout the afternoon, much to the annoyance of my fellow travellers.
Wonder what strange choices Sadler might make in todays line up?
And i would rather stay on Salford quays and DRIVE to the ground, than stay anywhere NEAR to the ground
My pins will be on show.
Lutfi may well leg it back to Ukraine at first sight!
It has such a non-league look about it too, awful couple of sheds with no home supporters and atrocious facilities.
Yep
I thought it had the look of something portable lol like a big top circus tent that you could pack away and transport to any field in the country
Classic smash and grab. Sadlers first away win
Weāve got this
Also if we go behind fans are reminded to keep their cool so as not to contribute to climate change and thus bring about the entire destruction of the worldš
Yes, loads of free street parking nearby. The pub is on Back Hope Street which is more of a short and narrow cobbled alley, but the roads either end are fine and you should have no problem finding a space close by.
Itās about a mile walk to the ground (a lot less as the crow flies but no direct path so you have to go all the way round). Our end is at the far side of the stadium on Moor Lane.
The Star is probably the closest pub to the ground (or at least the closest decent one). It was the first urban co-op pub saved from closure by the local community taking over the running of it. Thereās usually a few locals in, but not many are Salford City fans even though itās just up the road.
Just a heads up with anyone heading into centre of Manchester before hand .
The Mancunian way is closed today and traffic is very very busy on surrounding roads .
Next slide please King Crod
Thanks Andy
Iām concerned that @KingCrod hasnāt answered any of my points of clarification on his advice.
Iām especially worried about the lid situation and delays at the points of entry into the Peninsula Stadium for the visiting audience.
If King Crodās advice is followed and members of the visiting audience intend to take their water and sun cream into the Peninsula stadium then it might be wise to mitigate the chance of delays and overcrowding at the points of entry by arriving early. This would enable the appointed representatives of Salford City Football Club to conduct a thorough search and ensure that the water isnāt for example paraffin and the sun cream wasnāt bull semen or indeed the semen from any other species either of this planet or beyond.
It would be helpful if King Crod could respond to my initial requests for points of clarity now as a matter of urgency given that kick off is approaching and members of the visiting audience may be getting anxious about quite what to do.
I have it on good authority the Salford members of staff will take a sensible approach today to water and sun cream being bought into the arena as long as it is in a suitable vessel.
Do we need to self-apply or is there an executive service available?
