W 2-1 vs Salford City (H) - League Two - Mon 1st April, 3pm

I agree.

They were brutal, and the ref let far too much go in the first half, so it persisted.

We did well to dig in there and stay in the game.

Keeps it alive for a while longer at least.

Up The Saddlers.

Beyond taking the piss to bring on the hapless Doug not Dj

He got away with it. Just…

Hasn’t played well for a few games now, if he goes the midfield will need a rethink as Tierney isn’t the answer and although we won today playing Stirk and Comley together is no long term solution. I really would like to see DJ given a run with Matt or Gordon as we looked light up front for most of today and with Earing injured presumably we look more toothless than we gave been for a while.

I think sadler only bought dj on to appease the crowd and avoid the pelters he would have deseverdly got.

A very welcome 3 points and pleased that mo got the winning goal - you could tell how much it meant to him and the team.
Quality was poor though and sadler still does not cut it for me - even if I try to overlook the mossive pachyderm in the room (the DJ situation), which I can’t btw.

Need to consider his off the ball influence to give a fair assessment

One of the worst wins I’ve seen in a while but It’ll do.

Not fully over yet, roll on Tranmere

Can’t fault their support noise wise today though, 150 odd Salford or whatever outsung our ever crap home atmosphere

Wish we’d make the lower safe standing and try and do sumat

People make an atmosphere, not stands. (I wouldn’t be against safe standing though)

Free, or cheaper beer would probably work better though

I do think it would help though, you’re naturally louder stood up well I am anyways

Poor performance, we look like a team with no confidence main thing is the 3 points, massive improvement needed to get us over line unfortunately i can’t see that happening top 10 finish most likely now.

Issac Hutchinson playing for a move to non league by looks of it very poor last few games. If DJ is on the bench for his lack of effort then Hutch should join him on the bench.

Jsut got home. Who cares about the performance, its 3 points. Roll on Tranmere.

The pizza outside the locker was a 8/10 too.

On the drive out i saw one of them content tossers who film where theyre not supposed to to rile the police or security guards into reacting so it makes their video credible.

I heard him talk a whole load of stuff to the police… including:
-" if i dont give a sh!t about the police, why would i give a fk about you, you idiot"

  • “ill film where is want you pr#ck”
I hope he got filled in.

There is still a place for standing at football I agree.

All seater is madness, every time the ball goes anywhere near our goal, everyone stands up anyway.

Still got an assist today though so I think that’s 10 goals 10 assists in the league this season so far.

Lol. ‘off the ball influence’ ha ha. I think most fans would have been happy for him to be ‘off the pitch’ in most games

Not disputing the fact hes done well over the course of the season. But lack of effort is clear to see last few games hes dodged out of tackles not the sort of player i want in my team.

More fool them. It also goes a long way to explaining why Gordon and DJT start ahead of DJ

Mental opinion that, we’d be way off any play off shout if it weren’t for Hutchinson and his involvement over the season so far.

He’s not the most physical but that just isn’t his game. We will miss him when he’s gone that’s for sure (& if he does leave for better I wish him well)

I would expect that westies info is entirely credible and he’s avoiding injury until the ink drys on his move away

Exactly
