We have looked a real decent team 3 games on the trot now .
Great resilience today to recover from the equaliser . On balance we should have been a couple up by then .

Chuffed with the win. Labadie and Wilkinson are key players for us, need to keep both of them fit and we might just climb the table.
We looked really solid for the most part, but the amount of goals we are conceding from set-pieces is criminal. It should be the easiest thing to sort out on the training pitch.
The excitement of an injury time winner is great, loved it. I think I’d have preferred it if we had just seen the game out at 1-0 though. There is hope for this team if we can keep key players available and learn how to defend set pieces. Labadie and Earing look a good pairing in midfield, Labadie is obvious quality although how many games he will play through suspension or injury is going to be a problem. Earing is already looking an accomplished player at this level I think, nothing spectacular but gets the job done.

What a strange game! Both teams scored their first in half’s when they didn’t really deserve too. Wilkinson showed why he scored so many last season. Thought Ward, despite the stick he was getting, really stepped up his game second half, defended well, played some nice crosses and balls down the line. Menayase and Monthe were solid, Miller battled well.
Negatives, I’m a fan of Rose but he was noticibly worse than Rushworth. Labadie is made of glass. We need to work out a way of transitioning through the thirds better than pass pass pass round the back then hoof.
But what a result and against a really shit team with a really poor following.

It was a strange afternoon in that we didn’t play particularly well, but at the same time none of our players had a bad game.
I thought Manny was superb today - he was strong defensively and threaded some great passes to the forwards with his left foot.
And to crown it Darrell Brent FC gave away a 2 goal lead to lose 4-3 at Sutton.

Great to see 4800 home fans in the ground today.
As a season ticket holder I’m more than happy for the club to do more offers to get higher crowds.
At one point the kids in the family stand were louder than the GA or whatever it’s called these days.

A win we just about deserved.Well done everyone.A strange sort of game at times but Salford never really threatened us and I was surprised they equalised. Wilkinson will be a big player for us if he stays fit.

Salford did very little and I was seething when it looked like we’d thrown it away again. Shortly before his stunning winner, WiIkinson looked injured again and I feared the worst. I thought everyone had a decent game today, but was most impressed by Earing who looked good and is getting better.

I think our defence is one player short of being OK, Dan Scarr. Would probably cleared most of our goals conceded from set pieces.
Great result. Well done Matt and the lads. Great to be on the right end of a last minute goal for a change! We’ve got some good attacking players: probably missing a central midfielder and a replacement left-back to make us a more balanced squad. And if Hal Robson-Kanu would like to play for us then that that would be great.
