Is there a pitch inspection.
Donât know but thereâs a Ernie Thomas barge floating down the Broadway.
Ernie Thomas, wasnât he Chairman many years ago ?
.
Weâve had them all boatman, scrap merchant, gambler.
Wonder what Ernie would make of American owners ?
He wouldnât like them spending money.
Seem to remember Sir Alfred Owen of Rubery Owen was a Director but I donât think he ever put much money in.
o
Bill Harrison and his son Ron Harrison Triplex
Wasnât that Father then son ?
Yep just corrected that .
Donât think Ron ever spent money like his Dad.
Bill was a great bloke who really saved our club from going out of business . Died too early and Ron didnât have the same passion in my view.
No he couldnât wait to get rid ,his dad was a proper fan Iâd say the last owner who had a genuine interest in the club .old school .
I said this some years ago and a fan picked me up on it and said he sold it because we were going bankrupt and got no money and would have gone out of business.

Match goes ahead, for the time being.
Again an early decision would do everyone a world of good, safety has to be priority for everyone.
The forecast is continuous rain. Looks in danger.
Pitch inspection taking place
Be one of those just as your crossing the Broadway youâll se saddlers fans coming towards you .
Mike Taylor sounded not too optimistic.
