W 3-1 vs Barrow (A) - League Two - Sat 18th April, 12:30pm

It’s because of the Walsall fan Uber negativity, and part of what holds the club back.

It is one of the rules on here.Never ever say anything positive about Walsall FC or any of its players!!!

Firstly, like all fans, we’re biased and it’s largely heart over head comments…

Secondly, there are very few decent teams in this division…

The problem is that the disappointments of the last 2 years have given a big boost to negative folk. Those of us of a more positive disposition have to accept that. I regret to say I think only a promotion will change the narrative.

Well, Barrow beat Oldham in midweek. They were poor today but Walsall were pretty good, too. Pleased for Hancock. Kanu looked sharp today and I thought Jellis got some of his old spark back.

Yes. There has been a lot of good put into Walsall over the last 3 years, but last seasons collapse has made it all futile in some folks eyes unfortunately.

It’s understandable, to an extent, but it’s not helping the club going forwards.

It seemed a strange game at times. At points I thought we were doing everything we could to lose but then deserved to win.

Good response from last week’s debacle I suspect Byfield gave them the hairdryer treatment and fully deserved. Maybe put him back in the running for the job permanently. I must say though defensively we look awful maybe why Sadler refused to change to a 4 at the back.

In the shop window a lot of these players, got to play well to get a contract elsewhere

Pity Swindon drop a point, lets in those morons from Salford, we up North had to suffer a gushing spot on our local news channel showing how wonderful the clubs owners are and their great manager (uuurgh) 7th tier team in a 7th tier ground with little or no support, miles away from Salford.

A win today bloomin heck!..meaningless though. Byfield will be given the job (he’s cheap of course) and we will have to look forward to loads of loans coming in over summer, no investment, no ambition…but hey weem Walsall aye we!

We would probably be going into next season with Sadler in charge if everyone had just acted like everything was fine. Criticism is equally as important as praise.

Too many people from within our club over quite a few years doing too much back patting for very poor outcomes.

I wouldn’t say I’m particularly negative, but futile is exactly what this game was. I didn’t watch it and can’t say the result particularly bothered me. Now we’ve finally capitulated, it was effectively a pre-season friendly with a team of players and manager who mostly won’t be here next season. Can’t say it inspires much more than any of the other football results I might see today.

This complete ennui is a direct result of the bad decisions - the terrible transfer windows and blind loyalty to Sadler and months of tedious football - that might be technically outweighed by the good changes you mentioned, but have a cumulative effect that completely negates them

Sorry, but I thought it was a good performance, regardless of the opposition. We have played poor teams a few times this season and haven’t put them away

Of course it’s all the fans fault we are shite season after season, I mean we pick the manager, the owners, style of play, you really are a clown.

Respect your view but i really don’t think lack of criticism is a problem at Walsall fc

Here his again , it’s the fans fault :rofl::rofl::rofl:

It’s not but what you are saying is rubbish in all honesty. If everyone had never said anything negative all season, we’d have still finished in the same position, or close to it.

Not for me, happy for him to stay at the club though.

And what lemon sits by and just says nothing when the club stinks the place out week after week.

Neither for me, get rid. What job are we giving him? He hardly excelled as attacking coach.
