I used to be a fan like that in my younger days, I have no problem with anyone who wants to take that path. I don’t accept the fans are at fault for our failures though, quite the opposite, in my opinion.

I think it’s more this win is way too late. Needed this type of performance against any of Colchester, Gillingham or Swindon.

Ground and fans, and Barrow itself, I agree, but it is probably the most scenic drive to a ground (once you get off the M6) and a lovely part of the world to make a long weekend of it. I’ll miss it if they aren’t in L2 next season.

Not just within the club.
Remember in the first half of this season when performances weren’t great, but because we were top of the league certain fans were having a go at anyone criticising.
“Hey, we’re top of the league, why’s everyone moaning, we won’t have a second half season as bad as last season!” 
How did that work out?

Absolutely. We have one of the most patient and loyal fan bases in the country. If some people had their way we would still have Sadler in charge, probably ending the season in the bottom half of the table and with a relegation fight more likely than a promotion push next season.

I try to be positive but under Mat Sadler it was boring at times and when for the second successive season we fell away in what looked like a carbon copy of the previous one it certainly does test people’s patience. I’ve probably been as guilty as anyone having a moan but then I travel everywhere following the team and to a point why should I simply put up with it. After the game at Salford I gave my Crewe ticket away (and then we win 
). I also walked out of the ground against Cheltenham which I’d never done before but I couldn’t stomach any more of that rubbish.
