W 3-1 vs Wrexham (H) - League Two - Fri 29th Dec, 7:45pm

Absolutely buzzing after that!
What a game. What a performance and what a fantastic atmosphere.
Sadler got it spot on tonight. Long may it continue!

Hopefully some of the part time fans will come back for some of the less attractive games in this league.

There is also a myth that 352 is automatically defensive to be fair.

Best thing is if Stirk or Mcentee was fit then DJT probably wouldn’t have made the bench just like in recent games.

I was just thinking ahead really. rather than tonight. Tonight showed what we are capable of, but you will need a certain quality of player to show any consistency.

It is there if we want it, or at least there is a chance. I don’t expect us to go crazy but a couple of quality players and who knows.

Mullin is a beast,I wish we had him.

A few other thoughts:

Wrexham couldn’t handle Daniels pushing into midfield.

Jackson Smith is number one. Do we sell Evans in Jan?

I hope folk can now see what I (and others) were saying about McEntee in midfield. That performance tonight does not happen with McEntee (and Stirk) as the 8s.

Hutchinson and Earing have an instant connection and similar lush hair styles.

Tom Knowles is the weak link in the entire side. Not good enough. We need a proper RWB.

We need to replace Draper with 2 players who fit this style.

If we had played this way since the start of the season, I would never ever had a problem.

Up to the club now to put their money and ambition where their mouth is in January.

He was shit :man_shrugging:

Nicely eloquent. Still too much swallowing though :joy:

No way either pass leading up to our third was offside. I think I’d have wanted a penalty if it were in the opposing box. I’m glad to see Mullin’s hubris for scoring an equaliser curse him by the time of the final whistle.

A proper Walsall performance tonight.

Played with pace and tempo, knocking the ball round beautifully at times and getting behind their defence.

For me, Comley is a big part of the upturn in form - he does the simple stuff and allows the Centre Backs to overlap.

If Lincoln were watching tonight, you’d think they’d be sending for Freddie immediately - how is he only 19?

I agree with you missed a cinch of a goal hit the bar what else did he feckin do he’s to araf as they say in the valleys

I said about two months ago - if Tom Knowles didn’t have a good chant, he’d have been bombed out ages ago. His end product is so lacking at times….albeit better tonight.

Thought his interview was really good there and understandably upbeat after the win.
Very interesting listening to how he spoke about djt and the role he did, everyone being part of the team performance etc - think it was a clear indication that DJ isn’t going to get a look in and will be off.

Agree with pretty much all of that.
Not sure i’d sell evans in jan as you never know when injury or suspension kick in and keeps that pressure on jackson.

Definitely agree on earing and hutch - lush is the word, ha ha! Maybe our sponsor should be head and shoulders!!

Even when I’m pissed I’ve got a better grasp than you then. The bloke missed a sitter than spent the rest of the game peering out of Daniels pocket. Blokes a league two player :man_shrugging:

Best night I’ve had at bescot for years and years! Superb from everyone and bescot does have an atmosphere after all, who’d have ever believed it? Some statement to save ur job from Sadler that

I thought Mullen was very good , his movement and runs he makes was quality, can see why they win games and score goals but we was brilliant tonight
