Of course it is! 17th in the 4th Division, minus goal difference once again, unusually this time not being our inability to score, rather ‘giving away goals’ is this seasons bugbear. Large numbers of our squad on our well frequented treatment table, with little or no indication of if and when many of 'em being released into the wild. Of course the season is over, it never really began did it?
We are the club that keeps on giving, any opposition, no matter who, is given a goal start before 15 minutes have elapsed. It’s the Walsall way.
We HAVE to win on Friday, god help is if we get beat…

Quite a few mentions of “anything other than a win is unacceptable”. I can’t disagree, although I would like to think that the team is ingrained to see every game that way.

I call it more of a dream 
Would it be a disgrace for us to lose? After all, to get this far they have already beaten the likes of not just Billericay, but Merthyr Town, Burgess Hill Town, Kennington, and Midhurst & Easebourne - so we’d be in good company.

A loss would be disastrous. A draw followed by a win in the replay would not be the end of the world.

If potential additional revenue is the prime objective of our FA Cup participation, then I would think a very entertaining high score draw would be ideal, in the hope that the replay would also be selected for live television coverage. Victory for us at the Fortress, followed by another theoretically favourable second round tie.
