Solid, professional performance. Nothing special but what was sufficiently needed on the night.

Two uploaded highlight reels, neither of which will play in NZ. D’oh!

Mad how their goal scorer had a trial at Walsall and it got cancelled before he turned up…

Not a lot to say about the performance, apart from mentioning how much space we gave them for their goal, that really was amateur.

Otherwise we looked the better side, as we should, but we were so wasteful in front of goal. We seem to have a very selfish team, more often than not we go for shots from tight angles or 20/30 yards out when a subtly timed pass would create a clearer opportunity.

Not sure why DJT got the nod ahead of DJ (or Matt for that matter). We are soon going to wish these two have minutes in their legs come January. Nothing against DJT, he took his goal well, I’m just bemused.

People saying he played well no idea what they were watching he found his level tonight if anything dreadful player sorry if thats harsh.

They would be i know decent sunday league teams who would give them a game no joke either.

If there was any doubt about what’s going on with DJ tonight has proved it. Giving him stoppage time was an insult to the lad. Clearly they don’t see eye to eye and Sadler will do anything to keep him out of the team.

Yeah of course it was embarrassing to go behind but could’ve quite easily 6-7 in the end.

Think Sheppey had a decent chance start of second but can’t remember anything else from them.

It’s a comfortable win. Not going to define the season one little bit but at least from 30 minutes onwards played like there where 3-4 divisions between the sides.

Got the job done .well done .Evans for me should be getting a hand on that .worrying thing for me even a side like Sheppey exposed our vulnerability at right back.Sadler got to get this sorted .best interview I’ve seen Mat Sadler give all season well done to him for that as I’ve been very critical of him up to now in that regard .probably saving DJ for Saturday as Freddie gonna be missing for some time with injury.hope that’s his thinking .

Sadler said pre match he gave DJT a chance due to him training well so straight away you can see why he got another year. Sadler clearly impressed by his effort in training last season.

He’s lightyears behind what Draper offers. I wonder if he’d do better playing in a pair upfront but that’s rarely going to be used this season and Matt is more favoured for that.

DJT will be released end of the season and then up to him what career he makes in non league.

He’s rubbish. As I’ve said before on this board. One of the worst players I’ve ever seen. Should give up his footballing dream. Can’t imagine any clubs in the National League wanting him and and I include national league north and south on that. He will need to drop down to say Walsall wood, sporting khalsa. Something like that

How the xxxx did we sign him. Twice!!! :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Djt I think will make it at national north or south and do well at that level simply through work rate pace and athleticism
It’s a huge difference maker at that level
For example knowles was apparently class at Yeovil and one of the best in non league
His pace makes him look a lot better than he is when he is actually a non league north quality player

Enjoyed that, what a nice change to see us have plenty of the ball. We’re at our best when we are dictating play, I know that’s easy to say when playing a side as low down the pyramid as Sheppey but our players just seem so much more comfortable and seem to have a better idea of their jobs when we’re on the front foot.

DJT didn’t impress me despite his goal. Had plenty more chances to score, other times to make a pass. Doesn’t look up.

Good performance, enjoyable watch.

Also thought Sadler came across really well in his interview. Can we see more of that in the club post match interviews please instead of the typical football manager crap he comes out with. Liked his thinking behind tactical changes, gave a good insight.

Oh and fair play to Tommy Knowles for the second half. Lovely goal and much more positive on the ball.

Simple things done well, stop trying to hard to impress and beat the world. Simple things done well.

6 more wins and (two draws - we have to have a replay or two) and we will be walking down Wembley way

I say get real about DJT he’s young , a not so good player in the mode of Madd Timms or Dale Banton or even the great Osi would not have got himself into scoring positions to miss the so called half a dozen chances., so he is not the worst in history.

On the Dingle ometer there were some great performances from some posters, so I give UTS a Dingle score of 6 out of 10 this morning, it could have been higher but we equalised too quickly and were a tad too professional in the approach to game which stopped the Dingle23 outbreak and the cries of he’s gorra goo

Scarborough next at home please

I’m a believer
