Fact. there were 9 teams that won today in league 2 of those only Wrexham had more possession than the defeated team 1 game was 50/50 the other 7 games the victors had on average only 30/35% possession.

6 shots on target 6 goals scored I’d say that’s most definitely clinical.

They were with Corbyn and look what happened to him.

Very interesting statistics. Of course, the only statistic that matters is pill-in-the-onion-bag .

Once again I am in love with football. My team getting 6 goals away from home!! it’s just ridiculous.
This ‘not’ being miserable after a Walsall game is a whole new genre, will take some getting used to.

I’d argue that the PLP made Walsall fans look like an uncritical and forgiving group for their managers.

Without pissing too much on the parade, I would note that momentum seemed to be with Flynn a year ago also. Let’s hope that it works out differently for Sadler compared to Flynn (and Jezza).

That’s what the Lincoln manager had to say when he was told Freddie came off injured.

And before a game?

Welcome back, Dan. Villa not playing today?. I understand that the 1888 members have missed you.

If DJ and Sadler aren’t at war what else will we have to moan about?

It sounds (very much) like they are going to recall Freddie especially if they’re limited for bodies.
I hate to see him go but it was always on the cards that we wouldn’t be able to keep him for the season.
Things happen in football, always does!

It’s a long old season.

Taking your victory lap, point scoring and “I told you so’s” at this point, for either side of the fence, just makes you look a bit silly.

Sounds like some people should pay more attention to what Sadler actually says, “Not get too low when losing, not get too high when winning”.

If only

I guess so.

How much experience has Sadler got following Walsall, I wonder how many jobs he has lost to get to games, how many long term relationships he has lost, weddings cancelled in the name of getting to see Walsall get drilled. Do you reckon he has sat in a freezing house for a week so he can afford to go to the match on the Saturday? Has walked to an away game, or thumbed a lift, spent money he hasn’t got, not had a holiday for years etc

I mean most of this was a long time ago, but us fans get emotionally invested, not that easy just to shrug your shoulders most of the time.

Oh I 100% agree with that, and it’s more for the squad and players than fans.

Just thought it was funny given the scenario.
